Not a ton of difference on pavement. Not as floaty I suppose. I've heard other people use the word "planted" before. Might not be everyone's cup of tea though. The cushier ride was nice, but not what I wanted overall.
Okay thanks I think you answered my question. I really don't want to loose the cushy on road feel but want to get a better ride off road. What I'd love to put on would be the eibach 8112. I know it would probably be overkill price wise.

I have the Pro-Truck 2.0 kit and yes, it came with the new lower bolts for the front struts.

Aftermarket springs and dampers will never be smoother. They might maintain composure better with a firmer ride.

Chalk test your tires and run them as low as you can get away with.
Progressive springs will absolutely make the on-road ride quality smoother and better; putting the progressive leaf packs from the 5th gen tremors on non-tremor rangers was a popular upgrade for that very reason.

Sorry, they’re already on the truck so I can’t confirm the size.

Call Eibach support and I’m sure they’ll send you some.

That was very helpful. I've been back and forth on ordering these for various reasons, one being my mechanical skills are...limited.

Thank you!
I can second that the lower bolts are hard to remove. I ended up using an air hammer to knock them out and using that tool it was easy.

I finally got mine installed. It raised it 3”.
I think I need to lower it down to a 2” raise.
What did anyone else come up with?

I have a 2R kit arriving next week. Anyone have issues with OEM UCA at 2-2.5”?

Cheated, used a 1 1/2" hole drill bit to make an access hole for a socket. Super glued a piece of black plastic over it when I was done.

The only tricky part for me was getting the stock shocks out. Specifically, the bottom 2 bolts didn't come out with a hammer. Or putting a floor jack under them. The instructions did mention they might need to be heated up. I don't have a torch so I used a grinder and a recip saw to cut the bolts and/or the tabs they go through. Kinda stunk wrecking them, but I was kinda committed. Like I said though, I'm far from being a real wrencher.
I actually lowered the height of the eibachs a little. They didn't specifically recommend upper control arms unless you go higher than the way they send them. (Level)
Hope this helps.
So the 2 bolts that connect the shocks to the lower control arm are pressed in to the lower control arm?
