Hi all!

Just became an owner of a new (to us) Ford Ranger Wildtrak in Germany with some camping plans in mind for the future. Some more big purchases lie ahead...

Meanwhile, I've been to a couple of camping shows and browsed Temu, and wondering what sort of low cost accessories everyone has gotten for their trucks to keep things more organized, comfortable or just because they seem neat. And maybe which ones you really don't recommend either!

Thanks for your inputs!

Muslogy makes some stuff. Don't know if it would be economical to ship to Germany though. I got mudflaps, center console cover and center console hidden organizer.

Muslogy makes a bunch of inexpensive useful things, for sure!

Their bed net is great, the mud flaps are perfect, the big bed nets hold stuff from flying out on the highway, all kinds od useful things are made by those guys

Tray liners (replacing carpet liners). They are available in Aliexpress or Amazon, maybe local Ebay,(TPE material, almost any would be a good option. Many sellers buy from. the same factories.)
I bought ones locally (chinese made) and they fit very well.
Next would be 3M tint in all windows.

Some cargo anchors for the bed. There are holes under the electric cargo cover, 6mm diameter and fitting those anchor rings makes it easy to secure cargo, water jugs, the cooler, or many things.

I also have a Wildtrak, made in South Africa version.

Buy some cargo ratchet straps. Maybe some reverse Leds, wired on one of the accessory switches. The output wire is near the spare tire. Very easy to fit.

I have the thinner Muslogy center console cover. Fits fine, comfy, and matches the interior. I also have a Sundrew center console tray, which is nice for keeping frequent use items closer to the top than fumbling around. I have a Keko tailgate seal kit yet to install. The Redline hood prop rods are worth it to me, raising the hood higher than the OEM. All from Amazon.

The center console cover looks fancier than it has any right to be! I was on the fence about the hidden console compartment, but I think I'll get it now. I can get most of these things through Temu, which is where I believe most of the accessory stores are getting their stuff from anyway.

Will take a look and seems like I can get similar things here, but will have to see about the quality.

Could not even imagine there is such a thing. Makes a difference? I'll ask my gf if she wants one, since she is the captain of that side of the truck :)

Thanks. Mine is apparently Australian :) No go on the tint around here, fairly strict limits and I have factory light tint. Definitely need to get more stuff for the cargo organization. For now my camping chairs are just sliding around there

I just ordered the center console tray (again), hopefully I got it for the right model year this time around! Didn't know about different hood prop rods, but I did see a bunch of gas shocks of unknown quality.

Thanks all for your advices!

I got one for you. The first highway trip in my Ranger left me lacking a comfortable place to rest my left elbow. The door pad is too low and the window sill is too high. Enter this $13 mod: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CGNHJ992?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 Fits the Ranger perfectly.

I drove over 200 miles today and it was great, I alternated between this and the sill, mostly using the new armrest but occasionally the sill to alleviate having it in one position all the time.. It also opens up and you can stash stuff in it. The reviews complained about the adhesive that come with it so I threw that out and used 3 small spots of Nano Tape, 2 on the bottom and 1 between the side and the door panel. Nano Tape holds like nobodies' business and leaves no damage when removed, been using it in my RV for years.

Yeah, it’s definitely not the cheapest Ranger add-on out there, but the storage you gain with our Ranger roof rack is worth every penny. You can throw AluBox, ROAM, Pelican cases — whatever you run — right up top and keep the bed open for the real heavy stuff.

And yep, we ship to Germany .

If you’ve got questions, shoot ’em over. Dropping a pic below so you can see how we’ve got our Ranger set up with the roof boxes.

If you find yourself using Milwaukee tools and have these soft cases that come with the tools just sitting around because the tool is either on your bench or in your tool box then these work perfect on both sides of the back seat.
Perfect for stashing small items, bungees, gloves, fire starters, small tools, flash lights, etc. And you can easily get one on each side of the back seat. Plus they’re a soft case and believe me they don’t move once they’re wedged in there, but still super easy to remove.
SUPER HANDY! And utilizes a complete dead open spot.

I had only one long distance trip so far and I was too stressed driving on the autobahn in the rain to even notice it, but I'll pay attention next time I am driving on whether I need it, thanks!

I recently installed this glove box light. High quality and easy install.

Will talk to my copilot about it :)

I saw it when looking for roofracks, but missed the part that you ship to Germany, so went with a local solution. But will keep an eye on you guys.

Love it. I was looking at some cheap plastic holders from China for these spaces, but now I'll dig around and see what sort of bags I have that I can shove in there instead.

Thank you!!!! I've felt the same since day one; the armrest is too low, uncomfortable, and just sucks. My other complaint is the damn headrest, but that's another thread...

Thanks for sharing this.
