How did you get the pin out of the dimming rearview mirror the factory one I can't figure it outHello all,
I figured I'd start a new thread as I took photos of the installation itself, as a little modifying of the adapter was required. That said- the adapter found here, which is listed as up to the MY23 does indeed work on the MY24's and up. You just need to cut a little plastic on the plug for it to fit, but the pinout itself is correct. The kit comes with both the 3 and 5 pin adapters; you'll be using the 5 pin.
The original thread concerning the Dongar
Here's the install-
This is the larger "main" piece of trim, showing where the clips that hold it in are. Two in the front, two in the back.

Closeup of the passenger side tabs. I pulled primarily from the driver side first, then down (towards the ground) and away on the passenger side. It took a little convincing, but with a decent pull it popped off.

Pin out of the plug. The dongar adapter's plastic guide is in the middle, not offset like below, so I took some snips and cut it flush down.

Cut to fit. I modified both ends of the Dongar harness, not the truck.

I melted a small hole on the indention you can see for the wire to come out and keep a more "oem" feel/look.

Its a ridiculously snug fit in there with all the plastic closed up, but, I was able to get the whole Dongar harness tucked away in there and just have a USB-C cable running out of the hole, with a little two sided foam tape to keep the cord snug.

And there ya go. Other than cutting that little hole in the side of the plastic, and trimming the Dongar adapter to fit, it was straightforward. I had more trouble messing with the plastic trim fitting than I did the install.
I also did the auto start/stop disabler thing by the 4D folks and that plug was a pita to get out. But now I don't have to push a button each time I start the truck, so I got that going for me. Which is nice.
