I'm out in the desert and am feeling the limitations of the small fuel tank. My vehicle specifications are below:

2.7L Ecoboost
Towing Package.
Rear Diff Lock
Sport 4x4
XLT

Please let me know if there are any replacement fuel tanks that can be installed in the factory position.

This is US spec. Are those tanks compatible with US spec?

Look at Long Range America website. People on the Forum have expressed interest in the 35 gal tanks and also how to reset the fuel gauge once you put one in.

I installed the same 140L tank as in the video on my US Spec Ranger Raptor and everything fit and bolted up perfectly.
What difference did this tank make to ground clearance?
Where did you purchase it?
Thanks!

I've not seen someone perform the modification on a US spec XLT 4x4 with 2.7L yet.
You can call LRA sales at (208) 481-4777, with your questions and find an installer, if you need one. They are in Boise, Idaho. Might be worth a call.

LRA doesn't have them available yet for the non-Raptor trucks. If we keep pestering them though, hopefully eventually they wil.

I am curious if an Australian tank for a diesel truck would fit on the 2.7 though.

Holy moly! $2895 will buy a LOT of Jerry cans.
Plus tax, $195.00 freight shipping, and removal/insta

We should be pestering Ford, also. The 36-gal option on my F150 was worth it. Even 30 gal on a Ranger would be nice for those of us who live rural or off road. Maybe on the 2027 Tremor?

Seems we need to standby for LRA or another company to provide the larger tanks.

It would be nice to know why Ford wouldn't have an extended fuel tank option. Australia and the United States are about the same size. Both our countries have a huge off-road and long range enthusiast cohort.
