Aftermarket Box Side Steps Opinions

I keep waffling on side steps for my 25 Ranger, and shipping prices have crept up while I did this. I think it's time to s**t or get off the pot!

AliExpress wants minimum of $700 bucks for shipping; one linked from another forum was over $1000! So that option is a no go; I may as well buy from Ford directly.

Ebay has some for a little more up front, but shipping is not detrimental:

These only state 2024, but that was the start of Gen 6, so 2025 should work also, right? Would these work on 2025 Lariat? I do not have dual exhaust, and it appears that $550 for both sides is way better than the $600 PER SIDE if I go the Ford Parts route.

Got any thoughts... ideas.... suggestions... complaints... concerns... ?

those will fit your truck. 24 through current, or the t9 generation if you get them from somewhere else is another thing our model is known by in other countries.

I would like to know, I know there have been a few threads on this, it seems like a popular topic. We could use maybe a sticky with the different brands and options as well as installation guides.

I had looked, then went back, now currently unavailable. Did get a set for about $450. Not this cheap but still…
