New 25 Raptor

Hello everyone. Been lurking on here since October of last year while researching whether to buy a Trail Boss, Trail Hunter or Raptor. In the end, the Raptor felt like the best deal for the money, and definitely the more exciting of the three to drive. So.... I bought a 25 CGM Raptor at the end of Dec. and got rid of a 16 Rubicon in the process. It was a blast to own/drive, particularly top down on the beach, but it was time. The info on this forum was invaluable in that decision, as well as in making the minor mods I've done since. I absolutely LOVE driving this truck, and it's really a good-looking ride! So far, it's been everything advertised, and I look forward to many smiles per gallon.

We spend a bit of time north of Corolla N.C. in Carova when we ride on the sand and beach it in Kill Devil Hills.

Thanks! I'll post some when I have some good ones. The weather here has been crap pretty much since I bought it in December and haven't had much chance to wash and take pix.

Congrats and welcome. I just joined last week and live in NOVA. I just bought a carbonized metallic grey 2025 RR last Saturday. Is yours sheltered green?

I traded a nicely modified 2019 lariat fx4 for mine.There were no other trucks on my list. I had wanted a raptor since they came out.

Nice! Yea we've been down there too of course but find KDH and Carova, when we beach drive, a little more convenient. We're closer, and can and do, make day trips if we like. Do you like pinball? I'm asking because one of the biggest pinball machine collections in the Mid-Atlantic region is in Grandy N.C. on the way down to the OBX. Sometimes the wife and I drive down just to play for a few hours and then head home.

Thank you! No it's carbonized gray like yours. Gray is my favorite color on most things, actually. I didn't even know that the RR was out there until I saw a video on YT comparing the TRD PRO/Trail Hunter, the Trail Boss and the Raptor. After months of researching the first two, I concentrated on just the Raptor and was hooked. I was REALLY happy to know that 25 was the truck's second year in the US and had been available overseas for a couple of years prior to that. I do not like buying the first year of any new vehicle generation.
