Complete sound system upgrade - 2025 Ranger Raptor

This will ship with a tune for stock speakers. Later if you upgrade, they will help you set up your new speakers by tuning remotely. Great people to work with.
I also added a Kicker self powered sub woofer mounted in the stock location.

Word of caution, I’m not sure this one works with 2025+ models. Ford changed the A2B protocol/connector starting in 2025 and I’m not sure Mobridge ever developed a new amplifier for this. I really wanted to go this way but gave up waiting for a new version to be released.

OP your system sounds kick ass. I would love to hear it.

That said I did all 4 door sound deadening and added focals is690 ic165 in the doors/pillars and kicker kcs350 center. That was a huge improvement.

Still considering adding a sub/5 channel amp. These threads do not help me resist

You made a good choice with the Focal speakers. When I was at the car stereo shop I listened to JL speakers and the Focals. The Focals sounded better so I went with them.

But the subwoofer is key. It makes the drums and bass come to life.

But I wanted to upgrade my b&o in my 2019 ranger but got discouraged by complicated and costly to upgrade it and wish I had the 7 years I had it.

You made a good choice with the Focal speakers. When I was at the car stereo shop I listened to JL speakers and the Focals. The Focals sounded better so I went with them.

But the subwoofer is key. It makes the drums and bass come to life.

I will be adding a sub maybe with a 5 channel amp that will give me options. Thanks again for sharing your build.

Yeah, I was corresponding with a Fraser on the timetable for this and he stopped responding so I’m assuming that an amp update may have gotten axed. I think the Zen A2b interface is actually the upgraded Mobridge device and they are now marketed in the US through Zen exclusively and that relationship may have something to do with that amp upgrade getting sidelined, This is speculation on my part, but the correspondence and timeframe sort of lines up, (as does the tariff stuff that doesn’t help with overseas product marketing).

No regrets not waiting tho, I spent more $$ (way) than I originally planned, but it makes driving and listening to music a special event every time I push the START button. ….and those subliminal forum messages in my head didn’t help lol.

Some albums are produced with a lot of bass and some have very little. I was listening to Black Sabbath's album "13" today and it has a ton of bass. It sounds great and shakes the whole truck.

I don’t know, but it sounded like more of a licensing or distribution agreement for the North American market.

Did and done. My installer took the term stealthbox to the next level. The keylock, amp and just about every wire is invisible. Almost did not believe I had a amp until I turned up the bass volume knob to it. Holy crap it is an improvement. Cannot wait until it breaks in fully. My Focals have really warmed up after a few weeks.
