Interior lights.

What am i missing. Is this with in Screen settings.

When entering the vehicle the dome lights do not turn on automatically.

Check the dome light switch at the front of the headliner. Should not be pressed.

Maybe the front dome light has three modes. I am just switching it on and off. Irritating when entering vehicle and interior lights do not come on.

I am more old school. Yes that's a high and low beam on floor.

Check your battery voltage. I had a low battery condition this weekend while camping and it kept my interior lights off until I turned the truck on.

I can turn dome light on manually.

How do you get it to turn on automatically when entering truck.

left should be locked off, middle is off unless door is open, right is locked on. The left and right maybe flipped. But if your switch is flush in the middle, thats open door light on, close door, light off

Look at the overhead console near the dome/map lights. There is a button that controls the door-activated interior-light function.

It's kind of like a three position switch. Centered, sitting flush the dome light comes on when you enter the truck, left position push is manual light on, right position pushed dome light doesn't come on when the doors open.

FWIW, it is probably a switch position like others are saying, but I could also manually turn on the light but it wouldn't automatically turn on until the battery had a better charge on it. I also had a message pop up on my gauge cluster about battery protection mode.

I think I know about that switch. Maybe I have pushed it in correctly while trying to find the back window switch.

If the switch doesn't do it, it is the battery.

Is it in sleep mode, truck goes to battery saving mode when it not used for 2 or 3 days.

This. When I bought my truck the battery was not fully charged and the dome lights would not turn on. After the drive home, all was well .
