2.7L availability

Is anyone able to build with a 2.7?

is it restricted to certain trims?

in Canada I’m being told it’s just not available for 2024 or the person had no idea the 2.7 was coming to Ranger. Another reason I have no respect for dealers/car salesmen.

To be fair, it is still JOB 2 for the 2.7l, which is how it was from day 1. As Job 1 moves back so does Job 2...seems logical to me in that regard.

Ford failed before the strike.... and the strike has been over for months...... And It's been longer since the strike ended than, than the strike went on for.
So no, I blame their ever so "never wrong" management team who had such great ideals like prioritizing an electric F-150 that has the range of a potato, or when they thought that canceling the Ford Ranger was a great idea and everyone would just buy F-150's or when they though let's just demolish the Ford Ranger plant in St. Paul...... Ya, Ford management is filled with shit Ideas and poor executions.

Do you know Job 1 was supposed to start early August of 2023 originally? So the 2.7l availability of late fall did line up. Job 1 has been pushed back a lot.

You can send screenshots all you want, but I ordered 5/26 and have been watching it all closely since then. The 2.7l gets pushed back in line with how job 1 gets pushed back. Logically it makes sense.

I also wanted to order the 2.7. After some easy research though , they already have tunes out there for the 2.3 that will get you well over 320 horsepower while still retaining the fuel economy. If i need the extra power after my truck comes in , thats the route i'll be taking.
