I would love to do the 3.0 conversion.I think it is a badass truck that offers capabilities higher than the 5g ranger could. The engine is my favorite aspect. Especially since I just finished building my 5g, I would like to see if the 3.0 twin turbo could be a drop in application once I blow the 2.3. I would think that the motor mounts are probably located differently given the upgraded front suspension travel.
I like the facelift, but I still think the 5g with a front tube bumper looks more like a raptor (the actual dinosaur). A linked rear is where it's at for a Raptor trim, if we're talking a play truck and not something to work with.
Any suspension travel numbers? A modified exhaust and headers on that v6 has got to sound better than the 4 banger with a downpipe lol.
57k is a fair bargain minus dealer markups. Can't wait to see these racing in the stock class against raptors and trx's, but if this thing really is 5k pounds then that isn't a confidence booster.
