Ford's weekly commodity report shows 4,161 Total Retail USOB (Unscheduled Order Bank) orders excluding Raptor, as of 11/27/23.

Retail USOB: Is the current mix of retail orders in the unscheduled order bank (USOB) at the time the report was run. The report only looks at orders that are “clean”, meaning they do not have a compatibility error, material hold or on 99 priority code.

See previous commodity report.

So 305 orders were added.
How many, like me who were not going to keep waiting till summer for the 2.7
or who want to beat the price increase that will be coming.

Can anybody give us a real reason to exclude Raptor from those numbers?

Ford is either embarrassed by the construct of the numbers/demand, or trying to give RR some level of special invincibility by differentiating it from the rest of the Rangers.

Either way, they're playing games.

Have you ever considered Ford has internal engineering protocols and policies that you as a consumer have no insight into?

Because more than likely that's the actual reason the numbers aren't combined.

Bet it is because Raptors are considered Ford Performance Vehicles.
So not included with non-performance due to they are special and not produced in large numbers.

Just a guess.

It has been stated many times on this forum about Raptors
3000 dealers 1 per dealer in US
476 dealers 1 per dealer in Canada

So if Canadian orders are included

4161 Regular Rangers
3476 Raptor Rangers

Totals to 7637 Combined

But we know some Raptors are scheduled so the total number is lower.

Would have thought there would be more Canadian dealers....heck there are 5 within 30 min drive of me.

I would have though so also. I googled it
I also switched number listed 467 it should be 476. corrected my mistake.
There are 476 Ford Motor Company dealerships in Canada as of October 25, 2023.
Ontario has 157 or 33%.

Well Toyota reviews are all over the internet today as expected. I sure wish Ford would get some preproduction models at least, into the hands of Motortrend, Car and Driver, and the like for some comparisons and hopefully good press.

I’d settle for an automated email telling me nothing has happened at this point. I fancy myself a patient man but today marks 90 days of silence and it’s starting to make me nervous. Might need to grab a stick and go poke my salesman 🤣

Yeah I tried that after my first 45 days came and went. Got told without a VIN all they could really do was confirm that I do in fact have an order.

I wouldn't worry too much. I've also had at least 90 days since my last 45 day message. I recently contacted my dealer to remove an option and my order is still in the system just fine.

I do find it kind of funny that Ford can't seem to manage automating "we haven't forgotten you exist".

They release outstanding Ranger orders for a reason, they must feel it benefits them.

They could release RR orders if they wanted to.

They make the rules and for some reason they release certain model numbers, but not others.

They either want RR sales kept from the consumers or the competition. But, why?

Leading theory is it's embarrassing for Ford due to the number of RR's vs non RR's. And I wouldn't be surprised. Look at how many F150 Raptors you see on the road. I'll enjoy the exclusivity while it lasts, but if Ford is able to keep building the Ranger in NA, the RR will be in high demand and you'll see a ton of them eventually.

Or if it's anything like where I work, being a separate division (Ford Performance) they're just not good at communicating internally lol. Kidding of course.
