Since the recall update, My brake booster hes started making two quick chirping sounds the first few presses and depresses after a start/power up

anyone else hearing this?
Can't say I noticed that. I have noticed that the pedal has a very different feel to it, bit softer and longer travel.

No change in feel, just the two quick chirps the first few times you tap it. You don’t even have to press down, just enough to engage it and about 1 second after you let off completely, two quick chirps. I thought it may be in the cab, but you can hear it’s coming from the brake booster area when you have the hood open. Probably need to take it in and have the dealer check it out

My '24 Lariat is a Dec'24 build, I've never received a recall notice for this, it does have the electronic booster. Is this recall supposed to cover *ALL* electronic booster equipped VIN's?

I just got my OTA update for the brake booster recall. Simple, no need to take it into the dealership.

Yes, I now have a chirp after almost each brake depression, but I just got a 25 F150 loaner and it does the same thing?

Just saw this thread and wanted to add my experience. Bought my 2025 on Sep 26th.
On Oct 10th while having only 537 miles on the truck. I had this error while coming to a stop sign where it was a total loss of brake boost and the pedal went almost to the floor. There was about one inch of usable brake pedal which I did lock up the front tires for a second. Luckily only going like 15 mph at this point. I was able to drive slowly until I could find a place to park where I also had a parking brake limited function where it wouldn't engage. I went around the truck and under the hood to check all the connections I could see that might have to do with the brakes. I restarted the truck and all the dash lights went away and the brake pedal was back to normal.

Took it to the dealership and they saw the old codes but couldn't find anything wrong and sent me on my way. I have my App set to Automatic Updates so not sure they show you when you have received an update but I haven't see anything. No issues with the brake system since then.

You will get a notice on the center screen saying an OTA update has been completed. You can then go to the software update screen for a description of the update Mine was completed months ago OTA but Ford continues to send me recall notifications for the update. My braking improved dramatically after the update. Now at slow speed the brakes perform extremely well where before I was never sure it would stop before rear ending cars at stop lights.
For this kind of money I don't understand why didn't upgrade brakes on the Raptor . The brakes on the Explorer ST are much better, why not included them .

17" wheels definitely limit brake size. Mine take a lot of pressure but I also drive other vehicles with touchier brakes so it's hard to tell if mine work as they should.
