As If the rebates, price increase , and lack of real leather seats wasn’t reason enough to buy a 25 now over a 26.

Wow!
Not good if Ford is just going to keep taking stuff away and raising the prices , I think everyone was hopeful for some nice additions in 26. None of which happened. No vents in the back, no cooled seats, no Tremor pkg.

it's safety reason as far as I understood. so no gran handle for US in any foreseeable future
EU Ranger Raptor has it at least, so probably not very expensive and/or hard to do upgrade.
I think that it is a very useful thing to have.

There are vents in the back seats, they are just on the floorboard. You can buy or make/3d-print an extension if you want to redirect the airflow where they terminate.

I think what everyone is asking for is the same vents they have in other markets, the ones located in the back of the consol, where that pocket blank off plate is located in the US market versions.

Sure but does it really make a difference as long as the vents are getting air into the rear of the cab and passengers are comfortable?

We've had our truck for nearly 2 years and have had passengers sitting back there in the hottest days of summer and coldest days of winter. No one has complained that they aren't getting the effects of the a/c or heat. Just don't block the vents under the seats (which if you have passengers, you wouldn't be) and it's pretty irrelevant.

It really doesn't bother me at all.

I rarely ever have anyone in the back seat of mine.
Back seat is mostly used for storage for me.
I have been considering pulling seat out and putting in one of those storage trays.

I just was saying those console vents are the vents a lot of members were disappointed that we don't get here in the US spec. I can see their concern; I am sure the vents up higher on the back of the console would make for better ventilation then the floor vents.
The cabs are not all that big, so I am sure it's probably not as big a deal like it would be in an F150 crew cab.

My ranger has…but you cannot install in US as the frame does not have the attaching points..beside the plastic mold

Vents? Pretty sure I read a sunroof is standard in the RR for '26. 😂
No, a sunroof is not standard on the 2026 Ranger Raptor; it is available as an additional cost option for the Lariat and XLT trims, and the Raptor does not have it as an optional feature

Agree 100%. After a year and half of driving, most of the time with rear seat passengers...lack of rear vents is a non-issue.

The grab handles been on the F150 for years and now on the 2026 Bronco as an option, it has nothing to do with safety just cost cutting that the NA side loves to do. The euro NCAP is a tougher test than the NTSHA test and all Rangers have grab handles everywhere and rear air vents too in Europe. If they can have grab handles on the driver side of the F150 and now the Bronco, they can do it on the Ranger. NA side messed up the A pillar air bag design with their change to remove the grab handles that's why they had to recall them. Ford has gotten rid of the old engineers and more knowledgeable in NA that had experience in Designing their vehicles. Ford replaced them with cheaper paid engineers out of Mexico, Brazil, and we see where that got them record recalls. The Ranger is the stepchild over here; thank goodness it was designed in Australia and not by the cheapest engineers Ford could find in third world countries. I love my Ranger Raptor, but it could have been better if North America would have left the features alone. I bet if they had left the grab handles alone and not redesign it here it would have not needed a recall on the airbag. So now they have to drop my headliner and probably add some rattles in the process that as of now it does not have any, oh joy.

It does all you get in the back is cold feet and cold air does not rise.

Not entirely sure you are right here..I need to find the articles that talked about it, but the comparison with bronco or f150 might not be pertinent for the simple reason the size, dimension and volume of the three differ, and that has a safety aspect in some of the tests (especially the one with the side crash)

no one has complained they were hot in the back of my ranger down here in south texas this past summer. and our hot days are from spring break till christmas, generally. it was the high 80s this week, which is very nice because its so cool feeling compared to our normal 98+.

and no complaints about being hot. the center front vents blow well enough to cool the whole cabin. i think the issue is people face all the front vents at the front seats instead of in the middle and side areas so they are not cooling the whole area
