2025 Ranger Raptor
Traded in my '24 GMC Canyon for this Beauty. I've Logged 4400 miles. Done lots of small tweaks and mods. Most excited about putting Nitto Terra Grappler G3; 315/70/17 with 15 mm spacer on the stock rims. Front 2inch Strut top spacer and 1inch rear.

Next is to get a tune!

She’s a beauty. Love the leveled stance and how the larger tires fill out the wheel wells. I want to do something similar to mine very soon.

Can you say more about why you traded out of your Canyon for a Raptor?

Can you say more about why you traded out of your Canyon for a Raptor?
I actually Love the Canyon AT4. But it was plagued with multiple issues, recalls and mechanical failures that left me stranded multiple times. First major repair was the Oil Pump, and the Last was a Timing Chain replacement.

I lost probably $8K+ on the trade in, but I was so happy to land on the RR!

Understandable.

Recalls are a part of the game now, but normally they are for minor issues. Often you can get them taken care of at your convenience.

But parts failures that can leave you stranded? There is nothing worse!

Welcome to the Ranger clan. Hope your Raptor treats you better.

Not yet. There is just a small rub full lock in reverse on the mud flaps. But this was the one area that I knew I would have to do some small trimming which I will do this week.

Leaning towards these or Toyo AT3's at the moment.
I went with these as I'm 80+ % on road and they are the much lighter. I had the AT4s on my last truck which I loved, but they were heavy, even with Load C and my mileage sucked.

I also did a lift and 35s on my Ranger Raptor and just returned from a week of off-roading in Silverton. I did the 2/1 FordRangerLifts.com lift, 17 x 8.5 Method 703 Beadgrip Wheels, and AMP 35x12.50R17 Terrain Attack R/T tires. I also added the Ford Performance splash guards and the ReadyLIFT Anti-Intrusion Bars. I had no rub on any trail or obstacle during the trip.

looks like it should have come stock that way and I want to try it myself. But I have to ask, and I know its a biased question, but how does it ride on the road?

Part of the reason I chose the RR over the BR is I hated the way the BR rode on pavement, it felt so disconnected and jiggly, like the body was going to fall off the frame at any moment. The RR drives 90% like a regular sedan on the road, I am only made aware that I am in a body on frame truck when I hit severe road imperfections.
