Anybody noticed any problems with the 360 camera after leveling their Ranger? Just a thought I had and figured I'd ask.

I was thinking it might affect the calibration or throw off those yellow guidelines.

I haven’t lifted or leveled my truck yet, but in the last 6 months I’m reasonably sure that I’ve read every suspension related thread on this site. There’s a lot of references to adjusting headlights after leveling, but I don’t recall anything regarding issues or concerns with the 360 degree camera view.

Dealership installed my Eibach's and recalibrated headlights, cameras and sensors.

Thanks all. Sounds like it might be worth getting a camera calibration when you take it in for the alignment after lifting it.

It makes sense that it affects calibration when I think about it. The back end is staying where it is, then lifting the front about 3 inches changes the angles a bit. Add some 33's and the front end is going to be 5-6 inches higher then it was.

Or like usual, I'm just way overthinking this.

I just leveled my 25' lariat. No issues with 360 camera or anything IPMA related. Based on wheelbase, my 1.8" Eibach level is about 0.8-degree change in angle of the trucks' rake. Lane centering and adaptive cruise are okay.

I haven't driven at night to see if headlights and/or fog lights require attention. The HCM controls the headlight leveling in the lariat(2025). Standard LED headlights would need to be adjusted.

The VDM is only in the raptor, so suspension height calibration would be in order, for anyone with a raptor.

I believe that after installing the leveling kit you need to recalibrate the control arm sensors.
The truck will then have the correct data for the headlights, shocks, stability control, etc.
I read that a few times, including in the GOAT suspension tutorial thread.

For the Raptor, yes. There is a calibration done within the Vehicle Dynamics Module (VDM), which performs calibration on all four wheels. The Lariat does not have a VDM and only has height sensors connected at the RF and RR suspension.

I haven't come across information if any calibration is required, specifically for a Lariat. If anyone has further detail for the Lariat requirements, please let me know.

Also, I hope nobody has to deal with a horrible dealer like my local one. I was having recalls done Monday and mentioned that the truck is leveled with slightly larger tires. Asked if they could verify if anything required calibration. They basically claim they cannot do anything with IPMA (360 camera included) if the truck is leveled or has larger tires and went on to site GSB 25-7042. That service bulletin is about warranty implications of IPMA items, not if they can perform any necessary calibrations. Seems like this service department lacks something, leadership, knowledge, desire to perform service....

Regardless, I have not found any issues with IMPA related items due to leveling the truck. I was just hoping for "experts" to verify.

I wish there was a page or site dedicated to knowing what dealers to go for GOOD service support, as it seems competent dealers are in the minority.

For future consideration, anyone know of a service department in South Carolina that isn't lacking, to put it nicely?
