How exciting! Is the RRaptor already confirmed for late 2023 as 2024 model to be released alongside other trims?

Is there anyway to track how many allocations dealers are getting and when? Gotta make sure my waitlist spot is legit Lol.

What's known abut the actual dimensions, i mean it looks like its getting into the F150 size and that for me is not something I'm interested in.
The 5G size is perfect for what i need a truck for, hopefully it' stays close.
Also that screen is hideous, i guess I'm old school.
I think as someone mentioned above a 8.5 standard screen I'd like to see a pic of that in the dash layout, proportionately might have a better look.

My understanding is allocations are awarded monthly based on a formula involving a dealer's previous month sales. A lot of people have driven themselves silly attempting to game the system and order from dealers they think will have more allocations. I have yet to see proof it has worked for them. YMMV

US regulations don't allow that. Brake light has to be visible even with tailgate down. We can't have nice things here.
HaHa funny. Normaly nothing is alowed in here but I could delete the 3. because I insured the truck as a truck and not as a car.

Surely he could have done a more tasteful watermark. You can barely see the truck through it.
Yeah, that water mark could've been done better and it's the main reason I posted the time stamp for the tire shot.

The next gen is the same length as the 5G (technically it is 3mm shorter, but who's counting), 50mm wider (~2 inches) and the same height. The cabin is no wider than the 5G, the width difference is in the front and rear fenders, they are wider to accommodate the wider wheel track. The wheel base is also 50mm longer.

Thanks for that info, so the pics of the Assembly line unit were giving off a larger appearance to me and probably being a Raptor with the larger tires and wheel opening mldgs

The Raptor is wider than a standard Ranger, its width is identical to the 5G Raptor which was 175mm wider than a 5G Ranger. The delta is now 125mm as the 6G Ranger is 50mm wider itself.

I have a question? How do they still continue to produce the 5G and roll off these test 6G test mules? Don't they have to re-tool the whole line or is this something that's easily changed back and forth.
For the small number of pre production units, they can deliver the new parts to the assemblers stations as needed. It is not unusual to have a team of engineers and launch specialists following along the assembly line to help with the build and record any problems. On more complicated automated tooling, in the body shop for example, the existing tooling is often "kitted" in advance to work with the new parts while still building the previous model.

Eventually a "balance out" occurs where all the old parts and tools are stripped out of the system, so that they can't be accidentally used on the new model.

Depending on how many and how extensive the changes are, model changes are often made during a shut down where they have two weeks to retool the lines. While most of the assemblers are on vacation, maintenance workers and construction contractors are on six inch centers making the changes. It is somewhat organized chaos.

I thought the third brake light was going to be in the tailgate above the latch
US regulations don't allow that. Brake light has to be visible even with tailgate down. We can't have nice things here.
Interesting, wouldn't a shell block the cab brake light? There two large brake lights on either side of the tailgate, 20" is real tailgatting.

You've just pointed out why so many regulations are so stupid in the first place. Yes, a shell will block the brake light. The Jeep Gladiators had to put their brake light on the tailgate because the top is removable but a simple trailer hitch bike rack will block that light so Jeep was not allowed to sell those bike racks from the dealer.
