Me too. We rode in the back of trucks all the time and still use the hose when outside for drinking when its hot.

I’ve owned many manufactures of vehicles in the last 10 years. BMW, Chevy, Ford, Audi to name a few. Everyone of them has had recalls. I’m not defaming or defending any manufacturer. Over the last 5 years Ford has had 13-14% market share in auto sales. While Ford might be number 1 in recalls in the last 5 years, their vehicles only account for 7% of the recalls over the same period. Numbers are numbers, but it seems your more likely to have a recall from another manufacture.

I got the recall letter yesterday. I just got my truck back after 3 days of them trying to fix rattles. Not looking forward to having to take it back again.

im hoping it will be a mobile service for the recall.

I just had it for the brake recall and the tech showed up exactly on time, was professional, and left 16 minutes later.

Didn't even know this was a thing. I haven't heard my dealer mention that. Thanks for the info, I will ask.

My dealer sent their mobile guy out too….super convenient

I asked him how much they charged for an oil change via the mobile van…..$113 for synthetic

that seemed fair too

If it can't be done by mobile, my dealer will pick up the truck from my work, then return it to me when done.

My GTI had a fun one, forget what it was, maybe fuel pump, but there was a risk of the gas tank igniting. That one I actually took care of right away.

That’s not something you want to chance. Gotta be glad if you don’t drive a Tesla. Something like 5 million being recalled.

Hey I had a Ford Pinto when I grew up, the gas tank never exploded and when I was in a accident(front end) I hit a Ford F150 pickup just behind the cab and broke it in half
