I had checked with him in the beginning of the week. He said it was too cold in his garage. Mine are scheduled for delivery Monday. Hope to get them done next week.
what are the different ones you ordered 'with the clips'? I don't see a different one.

This is one thing I wished I had known about before buying. Silly the steps aren't standard.

Sorry, not sure how to copy a link to AliExpress. There were 2 sets when I searched. The black vehicle are the ones that are linked. The ones I bought are on a yellow(ish) truck. Difference was primarily the included clips and the shipping. The ones I bought were about $50 more shipping but 2 weeks instead of almost 2 months.

Got my steps in last night, hopefully will get them installed this week. I had an “emergency” project come up, family member asked me to do an urn for her father in law on a fairly short turnaround. That has to take precedence. But glue has to dry. Hopefully there will be time to do both.
Quality looks pretty good hopefully they will fit well.
Right at $400 - $150 for the parts the rest was shipping and sales tax. But, I ordered on the 31st of December and got them in 2 weeks.

I'm anxious to see how it goes. If you have time during the install, please do progress pics for the rest of us. If it's solid, I'm for sure ordering a set. Even at $400 it's a fraction of OEM cost (unless ordered at time of build).

I got them installed this week, did not take any progress pics but there is a complete write up with pictures on the process.
Couple things that are helpful. All the white clips except 1 on each side can be accessed from the backside with an 8mm socket to compress the wings of the clips.
You need to support the bumper, loosen the bumper bolts on one side and remove them on the side you are working on.
The 2 clips you can’t get an 8mm socket on, I reached up with a long skinny flat blade screwdriver and broke the wings off. So you need to have several available. There were 10-12 in my parts box. You also will need four 10 mm 1.5 thread bolts for the back of the bracket.
Took me about 5 hours yesterday and 2 today, but at almost 70 I just don’t move as fast as I used to.
As far as quality goes, I am about 95% satisfied with them. There is a small gap at the top of the panel on the passenger side where it meets the body, we may be able to finesse that out.
When my wife saw them she suggested that we both might have trouble actually using them but they looked pretty cool. Then she wondered if they were going to be lighted. Hmmmm.

Looks good! I would like to do this with my Raptor too, even if it was just the driver side it would be enough. According to the pictures on the aliexpress site, the fender can lift up and cover the plastic.
Still not sure about the exhaust ..

Thanks for posting. They look very good and from a colour match standpoint great in the pictures. I may have to pull the trigger.

That looks great. I will admit I am pretty jealous. I bought a Kobalt step ladder and I keep it under the bed cover to use when I need to climb up in the bed.

Been thinking of ordering these. Does anyone have a longer term review? (Durability, material quality, etc)

I haven’t seen anyone else mention actually mounting them. I saw a post from someone who ordered them but hadn’t installed them because it is too cold where he lives. A month in, they are holding up great and I am still thrilled with them. In Florida, we are in the middle of pine pollen season and after 24 hours the truck looks like a yellow velvet Elvis painting. I go through the car wash at least every other day. No issues.

Cool, thanks for the reply. I think I'll give them a try

Doesn't look like these are available through Alliexpress any longer. I did find a pair and ordered through Alibaba, though. Shipping was cheaper, but probably two months. Also, we have a 'tariff' fee now.

I'll post here when I get them and how the install goes.

I waited too long on the top glove box deal, I didn't want to miss out on these, too.

I went ahead and ordered the pair on Alibaba back on Jun 22nd for $333 after tariffs and shipping (the parts were only $125 of that...) Unfortunately after waiting a month for them they arrived today with a deep gouge in one of the trim pieces, and in a spot that would be visible after install. I've contacted the seller and they say they're "doing research" and will get back to me. Fingers crossed they're able to correct it. (Admittedly it looks like Alibaba has trade assurances that state if it isn't delivered undamaged I get a refund, but still a fun spot to be in).

Also strangely for this shipping from CN the agent I'm conversing with is sending their texts in Hindi... not sure what that's about. Is making communication fun.
