Thank you!!! I got started on it last night before I saw your link when I watched a youtube video and was confused on what to do with the metal brackets for the safety tether. I have them in a different spot for now, but need to loosen it and adjust it today, I ran out of time last night. Overall very happy with it.

Start to finish, last night was maybe 90 minutes and I figure I'll spend 20 minutes adjusting it down over the tailgate to where I exactly want it after work today. Great quality for the price, glad I was lurking on this site and snagged one when they went on sale.

So, anyone else had the the rubber gasket/seal crack already on theirs on top? Not even been on a month. Pretty disappointed.

Could you post a picture of the cracked seal? I am sure that if you contact Lear they will replace it.

The description says it fits 2019 - 2023 models. Are you planning to install on 2024+?

Yes it's going to go on 25 . According to a local dealer, they're all the same size bed.

I forgot to post this. Thank you for that info I will contact Leer with these photos and see what they say. Its weird since its not even on a bendable joint where it cracked.

I would contact them and send them the pictures ASAP. To me that is unacceptable. I am sure they will take care of you. When ever I have had a problem with any product I first take pictures and contact them with pics. and info. It will work out.
