Back-Up Light Bulb

I have a 2024 Ranger. When I am in town the back-up bulbs are good enough because of the ambient light. But out at the farm in total darkness they are so dim they are nearly useless. I need to replace the bulbs with something with more lumens and 5000k+ but I don't want to spend a bunch of money. I know diode dynamics has them but I would like to go a bit cheaper. I have also seen some backup lights that fit in the hitch receiver. Does anyone have any experience with these?

Maybe I am just being cheap but I would really appreciate anyone's experience with this.

I used Sylvania Zevo 7443 bulbs and the work great with no issues for reverse lights

The bulbs with anti hyper flash are needed for the turn signals

That is what I was thinking I would use. But both Autozone and OReilly say they won't fit. This is a 2024 Ford Ranger XLT. Were the originals that you replaced incandescent, halogen, or LED? I think I can't replace OEM LED bulbs with these but I could replace incandescent.

Mine is a 2024 Lariat that had incandescent reverse bulbs and these work great for me.
Yes they will tell you they do not work but they do. As said they are working for me.

I just installed the Sylvania 7443 High Performance White ZEVO LED (7443LEDBP2) lamps and it's a significant improvement over the incandescent factory lamps.

I did flushmount morimotos on my bumper and they are amazing. Found a deal on ebay. Just another option since I had the same issue with reverse visibility.

I tried the Sylvania Zevos and wasn't happy with them. They are bight, but since they only shine into the reflector, they left a noticeable dead spot. I ordered some Lasfit L2s to try instead, and they are much better. They are bright with no dead spots.

my son has a set of those fog lights that mount around the hitch receiver. we have been holding off installing because we didn't want to hack into his wiring harness to install it so i had been searching for an adapter. turns out f150leds makes an adapter to hook up lights to the trucks harness.... so i ordered one.

we are anxiously awaiting the harness to show up so we can install it but i am going to compare it to my truck first, since the other adapters i got from them worked on my truck. if this particular adapter also works, i will probably get a set of those hitch lights, just for the heck of it.

The best are the F150LEDs replacement bulbs. If you are truly looking for a solution to the problem, trying to go cheap won't solve the issue. Picture of stock and replacement I did last month...

Diode Dynamics is the best. America made, not china made like f150's. and I have DD bulbs that have lasted 10 years, in 4 different vehicles, and still look like the day I bought them, no faded or burnt out leds.

got the new DD leds for reverse, and using my 4yr old c1r pods for extra marker/brake/reverse lights, gotta change out that flood for a fog lens, not wide enough for backing my trailers down my inlaws twisting driveway. lol

Im using amazon led pods mounted under rear bumper with a plug and play diode dynamics 7 pole reverse harness. You can put bigger led pod lights if you wish and require no cutting to harness.
