We were able to put the finishing touches on this amazing build today. We were just the last step in the build (bed RAIL system, bed MOLLE panels, jack mount, Garmin Tread XL dash mount, hitch plug relocation, ROAM box mounts, MAXTRAX mounts, and Rotopax mounts. Truly an amazing truck!

The 37's and 74Weld portals really set this one apart. It is also loaded with a few Foutz goodies that look great!

I won't know all of the answers to build questions, but I can give them a shot and reach out to the owner if it's something I can't answer.

He's headed to Baja with EXO in a couple of days on a Raptor run. I can't wait to hear how it does.

Thanks! This build had me pre-occupied most of the week. I'm doing a short run of the production data on the MOLLE panels this morning. Should be full production parts. If so, I'll get a bunch of our Ranger stuff up this weekend.

This is my rig and yes, I'm a lucky guy that my wife paid for 1/2 this build as well as my Bronco @kermitbronco. Both are "dream builds" and wheel hard.

American Adventure Lab have been AMAZING to work with. As Brit says "AAL are in the solutions business" and I trust them implicitly. The low-profile Ranger RAIL rack allowing integrated chase lighting is crazy light but insanely strong! We're gonna beat on it in Baja and I have full confidence.

Only "problem" at this point is 11 mpg so just over 200 miles range. Hopefully improves when we ProCal tune in 2 hours but I see extended range tank in the cards.

We're using the new Eibach springs with 2.3" extra length on front so plenty of clearance (plus Foutz bumpstops). 18.25" of clearance minimum.

Instagram @bajarangerraptor launching later today and will also be updating the forums as well. Happy to answer any questions.

I just picked the rig up from BajaHQ on Wednesday with 100 miles on it and drove to AAL in Saint George so pretty early. Only "problem" is 11 mpg so just over 200 miles range. Hopefully improves when we ProCal tune in 2 hours.

Yeah I figured, but with that build might as well add the 35 gallon tank from Long Range America.

Fantastic looking build! Nice work, sir.

Did you do anything special with the switch setup for the baja designs lights or just the OEM overhead unit?

I used stock switches for my Bronco but Baja Designs have low beam that come on automatically with the headlights so we used an 8 switch Switch Pro setup on the RR. It fits perfectly in that overhead panel. I'll try to remember to upload some pics of it.

Having the 6 lights on the AAL Rails is amazing.

Whats your strategy/thoughts on the FP tune and baja with the premium fuel? I run premium on the regular but i also go down to remote baja multiple times per year and end up just using regular which i find is the only option at most spots. Been holding off on the tune for this reason so I’m super interested in knowing ur plan.

I have the same concerns for my truck. It has not been tuned yet but with this truck coming in to the shop it has made me reconsider the tune. I wonder how this would work?

I previously tuned my Bronco and ran in Baja and the RR got tuned yesterday:

1. Best "bang for the buck" upgrade IMHO. Immediately noticeable because it remaps the shifts and pedal. Gas mileage typically increases because switch to 91 so operating costs are minimal increase.

This is clearly and by far the #1 performance upgrade versus upgrade intercooler, CAI or charge pipes or other tune options. You get higher boost and that stresses the engine slightly more and so you're essentially paying for the potential warranty costs. I used to work in the car industry and had the same program at NISMO.

2. Use your FORD POINTS and be sure to PRE-PAY INSTALL! It takes 15 minutes but a lot of dealers will not do. So, call before and find dealer who will and then ship to them.

3. Ford Performance says no big deal to run 87 once in awhile. Just lose HP. But, I do carry a few bottles of boost just in case in remote Baja (and have used twice).

Hope this helps. We're off to Baja today. Pics/Videos to follow. Ian

Beautiful build! Those AAL guys have some quality products for most platforms.
Your video was a HUGE inspiration in this build. I can't thank you enough for posting in earlier this year.

Yesterday was day 1 with EXO in Baja and was a blast! The rig drove far beyond expectations and was faster and more nimble than most of the full-size Raptors with many of them dragging their rear diffs through the San Felipe woops.

RR is AMAZING.
