Any context into how this might have happened?

I'd think if you were off-roading and hit the wheel, you'd notice an impact. Doesn't look like there is any damage to the tire either.

Right. I do off-road but I have had a vibration since new. This is the second dealer I went to for this and they sent me the obvious bend. When I went in the first 2 times I had not take the truck off road yet.

Now I'm stuck either buying a new wheel, repairing it or getting 5 new Methods...

I just straighten a bend like that. I have bent a few, and also bouhht a bunch of bent wheels so i have fuxed a bunch, too.

A 12" long 2x4 and a small sledge fixes all bends.

Not on my ranger, no bent wheels.

I have done a bunch of bmw wheels though. A few jeep wheels. All aluminum.

An aluminum wheel won't stay straight once bent. The metal will be fatigued as well.

Maybe it got damaged during transport?

Sadly I think your remedy is just to buy an additional matching wheel.

A steel wheel, absolutely you can reshape it and it should hold.

it will stay well enough that he won't feel it or see it, though.

it is fatigued, yes. there is probably hair line cracks that would possibly show up not only on a white light inspection with 10 power and for sure also show up in a dye penetrant inspection but it will hold air and run fine for the life of his use.

i have some classic zender stars in 15x8 with 0 off set that i straightened 18 years ago and used for daily wheels and also autocross wheels on my 325i that won d and c modified class at the local scca events. then my son used them as dailys for a year and they are still fine.

that bend is so slight, it will be fine. the cold working of that part won't fatigue it enough to cause the metal to fail because its not going to keep happening repeatedly so it won't cause any work hardening that will fail

Actually front right and rear right. I would have suspected left because I think it’s sharper on the left but I’m not sure now. You know the trail I’m talking about. I hit that section pretty fast.

I know you know, that’s why I didn’t use a question mark 🤦‍♂️ lol. I definitely saw it on the left too. I remember that section from our run in February. I think the 150’s handle it better than us. Sean said he had no issues.
