Black Rear Tailgate Ford Oval Emblem

Does anyone have a solution for a black emblem? Seems to be 9.5". Prefer an emblem and not vinyl. Thanks!

The Raptor emblem works on the back. The 5g emblem is a little too small for the front and not sure of the mounts. I think the F150 rear emblem will work on the tailgate too but can't confirm - it looks like it has the same mounts.

The emblem has adhesive tape and clips on it. Go real slow with a trim removal tool and it will eventually break loose from the mount. Make sure you remove any left over tape. No access from the rear that makes it any easier.

For the most part, as I worked my way around the emblem, the tape broke away from the emblem more than the housing it sits on. It's pretty pliable adhesive and came off just using my fingers. It's more about breaking the bond on the outer edge of the emblem slowly so you don't damage the housing.

As a reference, this is the back of the F150 emblem. The Rangers looks exactly like this. The clips came out easier than I thought.

I used dental floss to remove the dealer sticker…slowly but surely and no tale tell mark…just patience
