That link doesnt go anywhere. That being said, if the turbos keep spooling, there is no excess boost that needs to go anywhere. They keep spooling for 3 seconds after letting off the throttle in Baja mode.
I fixed the link.

The anti-lag in Baja mode keeps the throttle plate open while cutting fuel.

I misunderstood what you were saying. I thought you were saying that there is no need to vent to excess boost in regular modes.
No, I was saying because the baja has anti-lag for 3 seconds, it doesnt get backed up pressure when you let off the throttle as opposed to normal operations. Glad we are all on the same page now.

Installed a TurboSmart Blow off valve. Until I can get it turnt up, at least it will sound faster.

Very easy install, you'll need an inverted torx size E6 to remove factory, and to install new one. The TurboSmart does come with a couple other screw options.

Part number:
TS-0223-1082
BOV Kompact EM Dual
Port VR19

I see you have installed this bad boy last year. how is it driving with it. Can you give me a good and bad about it? I just purchased one and wanted to hear from someone that has actually used one.

I've had one of these installed for a few thousand miles...

Good - makes cool sounds and looks better in the engine bay.

Bad - nothing comes to mind.

I just stalled mine. Best thing about it is during normal driving you don’t hear it. Once you switch over to asshole mode you can hear it.

i'm sorry, my internet pipes have been frozen. All good no bad. If you get tired of the sound you can twist it so most of the venting is towards the front and not the cab. I ended up changing mine out to a raceport version so it could handle the increased air flow.

The sound from these BOVs is very minimal. You won’t be sounding like a car from Fast and the Furious just driving normal down the road. Unless your full throttle light to light, the pressure build up to make the sound is very little and the sound is non existent.

I installed the turbosmart BOV. Issue I have now is the original bolts are in bad shape, rounded off. If I ever need to reinstall the original I can’t use the bolts that came with it from factory. I searched and searched Ford part catalogs but can’t find them.

The bolts from the Turbosmart one work on the stock valve. I used them when I swapped back last service. I actually ended up keeping the OEM valve on, the turbosmart for some reason really cut the turbine woosh noise as it was spooling. Not sure whats going on, something to do with it recircing on part throttle maybe. Anyway, the spool noise is better than the pssssst if I have to pick one.

Yeah. I am considering switching it back to stock as well. I’m a bit disappointed with it. When I can hear it it’s very minimal.
