I have had my 2025 Lariat for about six weeks now and I am having a real problem with the clearance over the brake pedal. Wearing normal shoes my foot just barely fits between the pedal and the dash. Once I start wearing winter boots it will become a very dangerous situation. I have tried changing the seat position to make my foot hit the pedal in a flatter position which gives it more room and this helps sometimes but other times I will make a quick movement to the brake and it will hit the dash again. Does anyone else have a similar problem?

Size 10 shoe, probably one of the most common sizes out there. I sure hate to start hacking away at a brand new truck but I will have a look at that possibility.

I noticed this too on my 25 RR. I'm going to take a look underneath and see what it's hitting. I have the same shoe size as you. I wish the brake pedal and accelerator lined up. It's odd the brake pedal is closer than the other.

It ain't called a midsize truck for nothing. Def a smaller cabin space compared to a full sizer. All the little disadvantages just come with it.

Same issue when I got my 2025 RR. It made me pretty nervous for the first month or so. I found that if I elevate my seat higher than normal it changes my foot angle to a shallower angle which makes it less of an issue. Coming from an equally sized Tacoma, the foot room at the pedals on the ranger is ridiculous. We have a Bronco and I've driven an Explorer recently and they have plenty of room.

Yeah, it takes some getting used to. It's my only gripe so far for ergonomics. Otherwise I think it's an excellent cabin.

there was a longer post about this same issue people were having a year or so ago. you can probably find it using the search so you can see what the responses were back then, also.

i know changing the seat higher was one i remember reading back then and cutting something was another reply that sticks out in my memory
