Ouch - did they replace? I wasn't thrilled with the different mounting from the AVS, but like I say did not want a stick on.
Yes, they replaced it once and that one broke as well. Asked for a refund and they did no questions asked.

Well hell, I wouldn't have gotten the one Ford and others sell that sticks on unless I found the EGR....I think, I wanted something and would have gone with stick on or PPF ultimately. If it happens once that was something, but twice....at least they did a refund.

I used the Ford OEM. I was concerned the raised center section on some might create wind noise. Easy install with youtube, fits like a glove & looks factory...

looks like the textured satin black version? I'm actually leaning towards purchasing one for mine now.

I know where they all go...into my Bronco's windshield :( That thing is like a rock/bug trap. Looking forward to getting my Ranger and will definitely invest in a bug-shield.
I had a 21 Colorado z71 that was a rock magnet too
My 2024 Ranger XLT FX4 4X4 is like an anti bug/rock collector. Have 5k miles on it no rock chips. Was going to get a bug guard but don't think I need it. Just love everything about the truck including no rock chips.

I went the PPF route because I don't like the look of the deflectors or the risk that the standoff ones pose of rubbing against the paint (or breaking) and I wanted more protection from rock chips and such. Bumper, front fenders, hood, headlights, door handle cups, fuel door, A-pillars, and I had the top ~5" around the bed and tailgate (down to the body line) covered.

Kind of a pointless picture...but that's the point of PPF:

All these trucks need some form of bug deflector/protector. We just got back from camping 45 min from our home, and after cleaning the bugs off I noticed 3 small chips in the paint....factory paint is so thin now. I even polished my truck after bringing it home in March. Good thing I bought the package that covers stone chips. After it's repaired I'll be buying one of the textured protectors.

I agree about the paint quality. It is absolutely horrible. I’ve had chips all over the hood, front valance, fenders, and a-pillars.
I also think the bugs in Wisconsin started being genetically modified with super glue for their guts.
