Build Date Just Got Bumped

I have Lariat 4x4 that was scheduled week of Mar 11th, got email that it was bumped 1 week to Mar 18th. Ordered May 27.

I have a lariat 4x4 march 11th, haven't heard anything yet, would be curious to know your other specs. this process sucks

Think this process sucks try ordering a Toyota…..oh ya can’t! Then in the dark unless ya call the dealer or it just shows up at dealer

Maybe there is no more room in the holding lot so build dates are moving.
Just a wild guess.
[/QUO Was told today at Chicago Auto Show ALL those trucks seen in that lot are set for SCRAP!!!! most were 1st runs have problems...2.7 are in there also motor wasn't fitted right in truck and had problems...the guy at Fords display works at that plant...had lots of answers!

You can see how many times mine was bumped but most were before the strike

Similar experience to yours Wags. I ordered my Ranger 4x4 Lariat 5-30-23 the build date slipped several times and not has been "in production since" 1-11-24. The truck has been built I can tell you what it's tire pressure and % the battery is charged among many other stats. It is being held for a "Quality control Check" before it is given an OKTB status which is "OK to Buy." The problem is Ford will not explain what the hold is about, my guess it is a chip.

So this thread is making me change my mind on my Raptor order. I ordered mine in azure with no graphics on May 26, and still have no scheduling. I was going to wait for azure, but my dealer also has a black Raptor with graphics that I get first choice of. My salesman sent me the window sticker today, it shows in production on 1/26, so I decided to take the one that is “guaranteed” coming up, instead of wait for the unknown. It’s good that black is my second favorite color, because the black in the taillights is kinda ugly imo.

Hey All,

My build date was holding steady at Feb 26th, then a few weeks ago to my surprise they moved it up to Feb. 12th! Yay me. About a week later they pushed it to Feb. 19th (no biggie). And then yesterday I received a text and e-mail from them that my build was moved to April 8th! How does it get pushed out almost a full two months? I'm predicting June before I see this truck now.

Anyone else get a significant build date push like this? Wondering what the cause might be.

I'm guessing it's related to an option, or some other parts availability problem. Maybe even "Ah crap, we won't get enough FX4 stickers in time"

XLT High / Tow / Tech, also moved from 2/19 to 4/8.

And even better, when I tracked my truck this morning now it's telling me "there's no record of that order number, please enter a valid order"

Hoping that's a system issue but I'll be trying Ford chat later today if it still looks like that.

It's an issue with the tracking site. I'm getting the same thing. Probably some type of maintenance on the backend.

Tracking system gave me fits this morning. Not a valid VIN #. Finally let me in after a few tries. Still holding steady at 3/4 production date. Lariat Sport

My build date was pushed out this week from 3/4 to 3/11. Lariat Sport 2wd CG. Hoping for the green dot to become a check mark.
