I have the dry filter with a filter wrap on my S&B as well as both the side and top covers on. It rips from 4k RPM to redline. Sounds great too, with the covers on there is no typical intake whoosh sound, just a little more volume from the turbo. Running the turbos at 22 psi helps with that too.

The K&N looks good if it had a dry filter.
Is there any dry filter available with the same dimensions as the K&N? I’ve been looking around but haven’t been able to find anything.

I have a dry S&B sitting in its box waiting to go on my XLT which will be accompanied by a tune. I have been happy with what I have read about them. The cat back exhaust is where I think the $/HP is a minimal gain. Now if I could remove the cats...

And with Ford's dismal record on releasing tunes I'm going to go with HP or SCT probably.

Just to be sure, 3.0 Ranger Raptor, correct?

K&N Cold Air kit # 50-2628 (whole kit)
Holds K&N filter element # RU 5303
(Size: flange 5”, top 5”, base 8.5”, height 8”)

Quick AI search shows two possibles;

AFE # 21-90049 (f5”, t5.5”, b6.5”, h9”)
AEM # 2075DK (f5”, t4.5”, b7.5”, h8”)

AFE Pro Dry S, pic below (size may be 1” too tall)

AEM is closest fit (also was a co-development Partner of K&N)

Here is where Grok says is best deal

The AFE is physically 1” taller than original—have to check to see if there is room in the air box if you go with this option.

The AEM is very similar in size (1/2 smaller diameter) and has some co-development DNA with K&N.

Disclaimer:
I don’t own, or have personally measured any of these. I used my Google-fu and both Google AI and Grok AI for specs. Sometimes Google changes its mind.

hope this helps

I'll probably just go S&B instead of rigging another filter. If it's good enough for Goosetuned's truck, it would be plenty good enough for mine.
