Well I think back to the last Dakota offered which offered a v8 as well as the 1st gen Dakota offered a v8. I am not sure if the Dakota was ever offered without a v8 option being available.
Didn’t seem to cause much of an issue with their full size truck sales before.

‘They will need to differentiate themselves from the competition, I really think offering a V8 would do it. Dodge invented the mid-size truck segment with the Dakota. I am glad they are finally brining it back. Hopefully the Dodge name merges back with Ram by then as well.

‘I do belive there is a decent chance the next gen Gladiator could get a v8 as well.
Only time will tell.
Agree wholeheartedly, would be a big step up for Stellantis and would push ford to step up

Looking forward to the release, I want to add cats also.
The system we are developing will be a catback system, designed with connection the the OE upstream components in mind. More details will be available as we release, but you can expect to see a no-cut direct bolt-on approach.

Would be cool if there’s just an axle back version as well. I’m more bothered by the dinky, stock tailpipes than the sound.
Either way I’m excited to see and hear it!
While we will be releasing a catback design, we have you covered with three awesome choices for tailpipe design: diamond black, chrome silver, and BashGuard™. Don't worry, they are beefy.

Wow, this might hurt my wallet!

How is the noise difference on normal mode to stock? Will my wife notice if she is always in normal mode?
We will release full sound clips with our product launch. We are supporting valve operation in our design.

Sounds fantastic! I hope you guys will follow this one up with a suite for the standard Ranger as well. If so, I’ll be the first one in line to snag one! I had a 2019 Ranger with your exhaust and absolutely loved it. I Got asked about it all the time. Now I need one for my ‘25 XLT.

Any idea of how much of a weight savings this will be as compared to stock?

So from what I’m reading, the active exaust will have 2 modes instead of 4? So quiet and full open, am I reading that right? How will that work cycling through all the modes on the steering wheel?

Sounds pretty good, love tucked high clearance look.
Would love some sound clips distinguishing between the different modes, really wanting to hear the quietest mode. Cold start sounded really good, the end of the video you could still hear that v6 buzzy pop sound that I hate. Not sure if the end was in loudest mode and the start was quiet or if it was in the same mode the whole video?
