I replaced the 4 door speakers last weekend and have the same instructions. They did help up to remove the door panels. However the Ford speaker adapters they add to the bundle have mounting holes that don't line up for the front 6x9's and for the back there are no screws so you need to buy your own or others have had to purchase bolts and nuts.

I find it funny that the receiver instructions say "You can't replace the radio in your vehicle because of dash configuration, safety issues, or electrical compatibility.." and then include 39 pages of how to do it anyway. LOL but the information on how could come in handy if someone needs to take the center console apart to get inside.

Thanks for posting this.

While true the actual radio can not be replaced, yet lol.
You can buy a harness and line converter from places like plug nd play kits, like I did,to add a sub.
It would have been handy to have a guide like this when I’d did mine 😂😂
I did find a couple of Aussie and Asian videos that aided me though.
Adding a line converter and amp for a sub,as well as replacing the stock speakers was a great upgrade to my little STX.

amazing! I never know where to pry on panels and whether it snap tab or screw. Those pics are excellent.

Just used your link last night to pull the center console to get behind the charging pad to run/hide a radar detector power cord. Thanks to your posting it’s now 100% hidden and not a thing was broken! Thanks - this is being kept!
