Thanks, but the attached thread is for the 6 AUX switches, right? I don't want to hook up my topper 3rd brake light to an AUX switch, but hook it up so it activates when I press the brake. I really like it, it is the look I was looking for and was the most reasonably priced one I could find. Was more difficult than I expected to assemble and install, but got it done. Definitely needed 4 people to place it on the bed. Only thing it didn't have that I would have liked is a pass through window since my truck has one in the back (makes that kind of useless now). The other downside is the loss of visibility, but that would be the same with any topper.
My GFC Topper brake light remains dead, I haven’t figured out what method I will use. Maybe an SPV Harness system, they are working on RR versions.
I believe that some owners have had issues with the Ford Towing system using this method (teeing into the factory 7 pin circuit), I would much prefer a no cut solution that instead uses the left and right tail light harnesses. There is already one available specifically for RR, they are working on one that will included extra circuits so more lights can be added (using the signals as triggers to control the factory Ford Aux circuits.).

The RR trailer plug wiring is already super vulnerable, does adding the extra connectors there interfere with the spare tire at all?
