when you twist the bezel around the tow knob on the center console, you don't have eco as an option?

dude, thats crazy. i thought all the trucks came with normal, eco, and sport, at a minimum.
Negative... No ECO mode, not even before the FORScan alterations.
Which I thought the Raptor would come with it as well... A Google search says not available on 2024 Raptor... Go figure!

I know right, from Google search...
"No, the 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor does not have an "Eco" mode. While the standard Ford Ranger offers an Eco mode to optimize fuel efficiency, this feature is not included in the Ranger Raptor, which prioritizes performance and off-road capability. The Raptor's selectable drive modes focus on different aspects of performance, such as Baja mode for extreme off-roading, and Rock Crawl mode for low-speed rock crawling".

Leave it to Ford... go figure!

Ok, ran this procedure, since I'm interested in whether ECO mode would give any better fuel mileage driving around town. Was meticulous in all changes you posted and checked them twice. On my US 2024 Raptor, this is the only change that showed up to Modes that I can tell, plus no ECO mode.
I have one question maybe something I did wrong or am not aware of... when you say to "reboot ABS and APIM modules", I am not understanding what you mean? All I am aware of is Writing to the code once changed and saving log file after. Am I missing something I should have done, please elaborate on "rebooting modules"...?
Thanks... Steve W.

Please check to make sure ECO mode is enabled in the ABS screen and APIM screen. Under service options in Forscan is where you can select reboot modules.

Yes, it does and I use it sometimes. There is a noticeable difference in power drop. I use it for long range driving. Trust me. It's there and it works. Your RR has the latest newest version of sync. That is why your screen looks different than mine. My model is a 2022. I never upgraded to that new version and I don't plan to. However, a friend of mine upgraded his and he lost that screen and got the screen like yours with just the three modes available. However, one of the three modes on his screen is eco mode. Check my reply to you and recheck using the screenshots I attached. Here is what the Raptor status looks like when it's in eco mode. You cannot access it using the dial! It is only available through the touch screen.

Hi guys, South-African Ranger Diesel 2.0L ecoblue here.
I activated the driving modes but when I start the engine the dashboard says « driving modes unavailable » and switches back to normal.
Also, having the 10” central cluster it shows a mustang picture and don’t show the full modes horizontal list…
Any tweak ?

Yes, both have been enabled and double checked. Understand now that I have the latest version of SYNC 4 and that is likely the reason behind the center info-screen not allowing the modes to present themselves correctly... go figure! One more thing I will try... looks like there is limited room for mode icons to appear (horizontally), I wonder if I disabled Tow/Haul that this space might get populated by another available mode. Prolly worth a try anyway, since I love tinkering in FORScan. It's like repairing someone's PC that got infected, I always say at the end "I beat you, you POS". I see FORScan as a backdoor, allowing us to hack the system Ford is trying to prevent most everyone from changing, to meet their needs and/or get rid of annoyances at the same time.
Thanks for the info... I'll update If I get anywhere.

Is this your current screen ? I picked my truck up from the dealership and the sync screen looked the same . Had to have a Ford tech on here send a fresh APIM as built file to fix since the dealership seems to be lacking master tech’s these days in my area and they are glorified lube techs messing with trucks that are more than their salaries.

Yes, that's my current screen. I think it may have always looked like that, not sure I was in there previously (when brand new) to remember if so. Also haven't gotten back to it yet, to try disabling Tow/Haul, to see if another (Eco) icon would take its place (limited horizontal icon space as shown). Disappointed I can't get Eco to show up, for just around town driving (gas mileage increase).

Did the new APIM fix the screen and yours now looks like the original posted here, with Eco mode available (with FORScan alteration to allow it)?

Agree with you on the Master Techs, seem to just be mostly guys that like working with their hands and needing a job. Pretty sure I don't want someone like that monkeying around in my settings and fouling things up.

It has not always been a mustang machine E screen . The APIM needs to be updated with fresh file to get that off ..

Yes mine is back to normal showing my truck . I did not enable ECO mode . Did not want to mess with drive modes at all on my RR .. I only did the Bambi mode and add the temps to the gauges ..

You can get some increase with miles on your truck by leaving it in normal mode and switch exhaust to quiet, steering at normal or comfort. Watched a video on a regular raptor do it and tried it out and it did work . Can also add that I have 20k miles on mine and noticed that after a few thousand miles I got way better mpg even in sport mode with Baja exhaust on.

The APIM module is what controls your sync screen and everything In there

Here's my thoughts on this. Worth nothing though. I think there is a finite number of spots in the PCM for modes. XLT and Lariats probably don't have one or two of the modes that the Raptor has. Like rock crawl on Raptor vs Eco on Lariat and XLT. Winfield at Goosetuned could probably look and tell how many spots are there. I watched some of HPtuners MPVI3 videos. This is a screenshot from a generic HPtuner video.

Has anyone been able to get the full drive mode selection to show up on screen in a U.S. Raptor?
