I found that I had to remove my wallet from my back pocket and the leg pain ceased.
i learned that back in 93/94 when we moved to texas from socal. drives went from 5-10 minutes between towns to 3-4 hours so that wallet was tearing me up.

I have posted a few times on here about this as well. I ended up buying a cushion to put on the seat between the bolsters. Helps a little bit, but still not great. If I’m in the truck for more than 30 minutes, I’m miserable. I am definitely not sedentary very active person.

I have found the seat to be very uncomfortable in the area where the cushion and seat back meet.

This is my biggest fear in a car upgrade As my experience in my current car has been poor seats. Dishea to hear the Ranger could be the same.

I have 1k miles on my Raptor and I've done a few multi-hour drives. While the seats are nowhere near as comfy as my F-350 Limited, I don't notice any discomfort.

Not everybody has the same experience. There’s quite a few few guys on here that have said they’re fine. It’s all individual so it seems.

So I took my first long trip after installing the Desert Does It seat jackers. It was a major improvement. I am really happy with the purchase.

For reference I am 6 feet tall and weigh 220 and have a 32 inch inseam. For my body shape the seat jackers increase in seat tilt really helped with the driving comfort.

The installation took a little less than an hour. It is easily done alone. I only had a couple of head scratching moments trying to figure out how to get access to the front seat bolts, and then getting the seat guide post to engage once the jackers were installed.

You installed these at the back of the seat to lift up the back? I will have to check those out.

I actually installed them in the front of the seat. It tilts the seat back a little bit and gives you more support under your thighs. Based on the little bit I looked into it, it seems to be more of an issue for people that are on the taller side. Tilting the seat back a little gives you more support.

So I guess you dont have a Lariat with power seats? Mine seems to have plenty of adjustment for this.

That’s not exactly my issue.

2024 Ford F-150 work truck. Personal trucks: 2025 Ford Ranger XLT, 2002 F-150
I'm 6'1", ~180lbs, and I've got wide hips, and I feel like the steep sides of the seat cushion roll my hips inward if I'm not perfectly centered, and the seat isn't deep enough front-to-back for long legs. This is on top of the lack of support in the back portion. If I was lighter, shorter, or had narrower hips I feel like I would be ok.
Have you done any mods or found any aftermarket products to solve your seat issues? I have the exact same problems, especially the narrow bolsters rolling my hips inward or something. I'm 5'10, 195, and 60 but not infirm.

I'm stressing out that I just paid $44K last month for a truck that makes my right hip/upper thigh bone start severely aching if I drive it more than 45 mins. I drive a 2024 F150 all day long, daily as my work "office" and find it very comfortable. Sadly I couldn't afford upwards of $50K to buy a damn truck. And my wife would be the daily driver and is just a safer driver in the smaller truck.

I had to really play with my setting to get it just right, now that it is where I like it, I made sure to save the setting to the memory preset. I also wish the center console was a little wider so I could rest my knee against it when I have a longer trip. 😄

I owned a 2024 Ranger Lariat for 16 months now a 2025 Ranger Raptor
The seats are more comfortable in the Raptor but not as comfortable as
the 2019 F150 Platinum I owned.
