Eibach Struts Installed!

Update!

After driving the Eibachs for a week, I like them. Slightly firmer than the stock suspension but still cushy and compliant over bumps. The truck feels planted and handles well. They will do.

I took another measurement this morning. Looks like the springs have settled about 1/2" so I'm at 1.5" lift. Still withing the range I was looking for and not unexpected. If the truck settles any more I'll probably make a slight preload adjustment to keep the lift at 1.5" at minimum.

Correct. I got two inches of lift. Here is the kit I bought. Eibach Stage 2 Pro-Truck Front Coilover & Rear Shock Suspension Package - 0-3" Lift | E86-35-062-03-22. I bought the kit from Tire Rack for $1,100 then paid the local Ford Service Dept to install them. I have an appointment at Les Schwab Tire tomorrow for an alignment.

I don't know about the 33" tires. I think you would need wheels with less backspace or spacers for those to work.

Three hours labor total. In my case $200 an hour which I thought was steep but I had $155 in points so that made it bearable. Labor may be cheaper in your area.

I used the dealer for a couple of reasons.
-Getting too old to do that kind of stuff.
-Warranty. I know the coil-overs themselves would not be covered but everything else should be.

I was just curious. Did that include the alignment as well? I will most likely do mine myself when I get them, the only thing I may not be able to do are the 1" rear lift blocks because I don't have a lift or 4 jacks lol

It did not include the alignment. That was by choice. I wanted to see where the lift amount ended up first. That and I had a bad experience with this dealer years ago when they tried to align an F-150 I had.

I was going to get it aligned at a local Goodyear dealer but they couldn't get me in for a few weeks.

I had it aligned at a Les Schwab Tire because they got me in right away. Good job as far as I could tell.

Hah! I too have had issues with any of the Ford dealers near me. I bought my 2025 XLT new back in April and I got a better deal on it than most dealerships were giving me for the base model XLs so I jumped on it. It didn't have that tow package which I wanted and I was even willing to pay for the factory hitch and to have them install it.

3 different dealerships I contacted, including the one I purchased from, said they would get back to me with a quote and never did. I ended up purchasing the Curt hitch from Amazon and installing it myself.
