Are you being serious - or just yanking my chain ??
Bushmechanic is likely correct; although I don't think they are suggesting you drive around with your head tilted, more as a way to confirm that the display is polarized incorrectly. BMW did something similar on their radio system at one point.

Trailer I am towing is 7' wide - so just need a little help as I can see down the sides but not much behind.
my trailer is 7 feet wide too. i used strap on tow mirrors with my 2020 ranger...vibration made it so i couldn't see exactly what was there but i saw enough to know something was or wasn't there so it was good enough for me. i just got a 2025 and haven't towed with it yet but the mirrors seem bigger to me so i am hoping i will be fine.

I'm being serious. LCDs generally have an orientation that works with polarized glasses, and one that doesn't.
Unreal. It only took the entire digital display industry 10 years to fix and standardize that problem away about … +15 years ago?!

Haloview quote -

Hello Wayne,
This is an older version of the display that does not support sunglasses. If you need to wear sunglasses, you may consider applying a polarizing film to the display screen.
This is not a quality issue, so I can only apply for reimbursement of the cost of the polarizing film for you.

This setup was purchased in March and now considered an "older version" - funny the one I purchsed from them 4 years ago worked fine. What do we think about doing the polarizing film they suggest - or are they just stroking me trying to get out of an issue with this unit ?

Optics / eyewear industry won that battle a long long time ago. Palm and Blackberry were a thing during that timeframe. What’s really going on is their display supplier is taking them to the cleaners.

Just returned from pulling my boat 2,500 miles to Canada and back. Needed wider mirrors as the boat is considerably wider than the truck. Purchased the attached set and they worked out well. Easy mounting and no vibration.

I am very interested in knowing if these mirror extensions would fit my 2025 Ranger Raptor. Their website doesn't seem to mention the Raptor but then, are the mirrors the same?

Of the add-on mirrors I've seen out there this actually looks like it might be worth looking into. Could you post a picture of them installed, really trying to get a feel for how they look. I have a stone guard on my car trailer and honestly need something like this to see around it.

I want the telescoping mirrors from Australia but as of right now they're not exactly easy to get and they haven't been tested on US market trucks.
