I bought the 4 amber light kit from F150 LED. Great quality and packaging is first class. I am getting ready to install them, not thrilled with the idea of drilling 4 1/2 holes into the virgin plastic. So I am thinking of lowering the row of lights to the first open row as pictured. (Obviously I will center them up and straighten them out)
Any reason not to do it this way? Thanks.

Went with the no drill option, I’ll take better pictures after I finish running the power. I am using a 9v battery to check it out.
I also did the fender “grilles” while I was at it.

I put the lights in and think they look great. F150 LEDS now has a plug and play harness option that would speed up installation quite a bit

These look fantastic.

Can you get pics of the side/fender lights in the dark? I worry these would be overpowering at night, but I'm interested.

fordgt Thank you for your support! Happy to hear you are satisfied with the lights. We do not see any reasonnot to install the kit this way! Everything looks great.

They do look great! I ordered cheaper ones off of Amazon ($35 price line). They are supposed to deliver this weekend iso I'll give a review when I get them installed. I'm going to place them in the grill like you did to keep from drilling.

I got my grill lights installed. Very happy with how the look and how well made they are. Smoked covers make them non-descript when off but very bright when on. Pre-wired harness makes installation a breeze.

Are these simply an aesthetic choice, or is there some utility to be found in them?
For me it is about aesthetics although I’ve read others say it increases visibility for oncoming traffic.

Thanks for the pictures. The color on yours seems more like the old school raptor than F150leds How did you install them in terms of the wiring? Straight to battery, via side marker light?
