I tried the cheap Ebay lights first that only required small holes to be drilled. Install was easy but the lights sucked. It was one of those you get what you pay for things. Each light had 4 dots that lit up. The F150LED lights are brighter and the whole rectangular lens lights up, not just 4 dots. The Aussie lights are probably good as well? I dont even think they were an option when I bought my lights almost 2.5 years ago. I have ordered a couple Aussie products that weren't available in the states. Good products but it sucks waiting a month or more for shipping. It is all in means and method. The instructions are one. Note, a bad one. Removing the grill another. I started this thread as a warning only to those who buy this overpriced product. There are better ways. Aussy's product Moustas, is the ticket. It fills the whole space, thus covering my f_€《_p. About 1/2 the price. Shipping is not cheap, but still less than f150. Enjoy I'm done, I hope this helps.
Yesterday I tackled the install of my Mousta grill lights kit.Thank you ScoMay23
My $30 tariff “duty” bill (from FedEx) came about 8-10 days after the kit arrived at my home. Just wait. First it was texted. That was followed by a paper invoice.Yea, I ordered mine it was $111 bucks plus $75 shipping. Maybe because im on the west coast. No tarriff
Hey Jaz, sorry to hear that after your first two successful drills your third attempt caused damage to your grill! As fellow RR owners it hurts us to see it too! This is the first time we have seen this damage caused but we hear your feedback about requesting a smaller drill hole requirement to further increase the ease of install and we will see if we can make that happen. To clarify, you can cut the connectors etc and reconnect them to reduce required drill size without losing any warranty or support coverage from us (we apologize for any confusion our immediate response system may have caused regarding that). It looks like you have already ordered a product to replace the damaged top cap but given the situation was not the 110% positive experience that we strive for please let us know if we can hook you up with any other future upgrades.WARNING! These lights require a 7/16 hole in a blind small space. I was successful on 2 then the drill grabbed and destroyed my grill. Their design required the large hole because of the large connector. Why risk it. Cut off the connector and splice. F150leds AI ass does not know if it voids warrenty, go figure. It is $350 bucks for a knockoff grill. F150 now knows this if they are willing to give me any compensation.

That is definitely an option @Shadow Black Ranger Rapto , thank you for your support and feedback! We are glad you are enjoying the lights and are a part of the F150LEDs family, we look foward to serving you again soon! Those plugs are huge compared to the wires they use. I did cut off the plugs and splice the wires For my install.
Sorry to see the damage to your grill.
Thank you for your support @smokinjoe64 ! It looks like you have our standard ranger grill lights installed on your Ranger Raptor. Our Ranger Raptor Grill lights are custom molded and precision fit for the Ranger Raptor grill. Please let us know if we can help you switch to the Ranger Raptor custom set for your RR! Thank you for your support and for being a part of the F150LEDS family!Yeah, echo same findings...was an early adapter; circa Jan 25.
F150 LEDs compatibility, fitment certainly not OE for RR. For instance, LEDs do not sit in slots consistently flush with/3M tape. Modification requirements to grill are 'ugly' and prone to permanent damage [ie drilling, filing].
Not sure if F150 LEDs redesigned to 'fix' fitment issues exist now; however, many more AM alternatives out there that seem better overall.
Hey @Watchdog62 , thank you so much for your support and being a part of the F150LEDs family! The lights look incredible on your RR, thank you for sharing your suggestions, we look foward to serving you again soon!I screwed up mine a bit, mostly because I got impatient and did not drill a small pilot hole first as was suggested here. Fortunately a little black 1/2" rubber edging covered up nicely.
On the positive side the lights are nice and bright. Also look nice daytime unlit.![]()
Hey @Shrek The Raptor ! The precision molded RR kit should fit perfectly, can you please DM us some pics, we want to make sure you've got the right custom molded kit for your Ranger Raptor Grill! Thank you for your support and for being a part of the F150LEDs family!Installed mine ~ 3 months ago, they still don’t fit the outside slots. Center is fine but the outside ones taper and they don’t fit well.
Hey @smokinjoe64 , we can confirm from this pic that you have the ranger grill lights, not our ranger raptor custom fit grill lights. Please reach out we would love to help you get them swapped over!Generally, F150 LEDs look good 'from a distance'... jus hate the unnecessary effort, mods required to do so.
I'm an attention to detail guy, so those 'imperfections' cannot be unseen
