I wish I knew! My blend date is on Tuesday, 5 March and my dealer is showing a delivery date of 25 March. So my assumption is that if everything is moving as it should, there should be about a 3-4 week timeframe from build to delivery. Don’t know for sure but I’m sure some folks on here that are much more savvy than me can better inform.

This is a pre production unit being used by the wife of a Ford employee who also has a RR on order. It was confirmed that the OKTB was approved yesterday and @All Terrain Nation reported that over 50 rangers shipped yesterday. Sounds like the ball is finally rolling.

It is an internal Ford date when all regulatory, quality, assembly, PR, etc. check list items are complete and the model is ready for dealers to buy from Ford. Since dealers cannot buy them, we cannot buy them. Ford will not release the units until OKTB date.

Everyone here is happy because now all the built Rangers are/will ship to the dealers.
It looks like there is quite a bit of Rangers waiting to be shipped, so I imagine it will take a bit to go through the backlog.

Next we'll see the complaints that newly built Rangers are shipping ahead of the Rangers that have been built and sitting. Ford needs to pack the transports and that might not be possible until a few more Rangers are built.

I'm wondering if the reason a bunch of March people got pushed to April was to give them more time to ship the backlog on the lot. There must be thousands of Rangers on the lot awaiting shipment. If they do the last in, first out shipping then the people that got built in January may never see their trucks and hopefully Ford is trying to prevent that.

I guess that depends on how organized the lot is.
I'm sure a couple will "miss the boat".

It could be the growing backlog pushed new builds out, but I doubt for our sake. Maybe Ford just ran out of room?

Nothing in my experience makes me think Ford cares if my truck was built in the beginning of Jan, is sitting in the back of a lot, and doesn't get shipped until May. As long as they're pumping out Rangers to the big dealers to sell, Ford seems content with their process.

I believe the monthly production qty was supposed to be around 3000/mo for rangers and 300/mo for raptors. So there could be more than 6000 stacked up in lots. That is a lot of car hauler loads.

The 3000 number was slated as starting in March.
I think there might have been a post with number for Jan but can't remember off the top of my head.
