Ford Accessories roof spoiler - anyone installed?

Just wondering if anyone has installed this on their truck? I like the look, but I’m concerned about it staying in place over the years. The installation instructions say that it is installed with double-sided tape! Seems like it would get peeled off in a car wash in no time.

I'd worry more about the paint holding up, because I'd have to PTM it. ?

It comes with a paint prep kit that you apply after cleaning with alcohol so it's going to stick realllly well.

I recently just installed the hood aero piece on my Lariat and it doesn't feel like it could ever come off. I'm actually concerned about the tape being on there for a long time now.

Is this the same as the airdesign spoiler?
One can get a 10% off coupon and price is $200.
One would have to prep (clean with alcohol, and paint prep), but I've heard they stay on well. Since it is painted, it would be interesting to see if a custom shop could paint it to somewhat match the truck?

also seem to have some other regular '24 Ranger stuff like a bumper guard, body kits, and tailgate spoiler.

If it's 3M automotive tape, I wouldn't worry about it coming off. Automakers have been using that stuff for decades to attach accessories.

It’s 3M Automotive Tape and 3M Adhesive from a caulking gun used in combination. It won’t come off for certain.???

I noticed it keeps my rear window from getting difficult to see out of during rain storms on longer drives. Aero performance gains... nah.

As stated above it uses a combination of double sided tape and a tube of adhesive. I have yet to install mine as I got it for Christmas and it's too cold right now to do it. Can't wait to get it on!

I was looking at purchasing this as well. Looks good on the truck. I am looking at a few items on the Ford accessories site.

I ran out of points with the Bed Cover - Soft Folding by Extang for 5ft Bed, Side Window Deflectors, and Aeroskin Hood Protector. Used what I had left to apply to half of the yearly Connected Navigation cost lol
