Ford app - Can’t add service record?

I’ve been trying to add a service record for the past several days but I keep getting this error every time.

Anyone else getting this? Or is it just me?

I still waiting on dealer to add mine...nope after 2 years still nothing. I just keep the paperwork.

if it was service performed at a Ford dealer, waiting a few days may help. I have found that the records are not uploaded in real time and often lag quite a bit.

if it’s not service at a dealer, not sure what could be the issue.

This happened to me when I did my first oil change. The app didn't work on my phone, and I got the same message as you. I ended up doing it through the ford website on a desktop and it worked and shows on my phone.

Thanks! I didn’t even know there was a web version. Need to add my most recent oil change and never had any issues doing it through the app previously.

Interesting. I used the Ford app to log service with my F-150 with no problems.

Picked up my Ranger yesterday. Thought I would try it so I added a "Purchased this date" service record to try it. Worked fine with the app. Good to know I can do it on the website too.

had my truck since Feb added a few service things i did and one the dealer did but the app is down a lot "service items unavailable please check back later"

Maybe you have to do it on a computer then it will show up on the app?

I add my self-service records online Service History It then updates the app shortly thereafter.

I haven’t tried to add anything recently, but when I bought my 21 f150, you could do records through the app along with pics or pdf of receipts. Then a few years ago when they redid the app, records disappeared altogether. Then they reappeared, but no longer could add receipts.

i gave up on it at that point. Now I just use the notes app on my phone to keep a running record. Can add pics, receipts, etc. I lost confidence in ford protecting my records, so now I keep them myself locally.

I was wondering about the picture thing. I remember adding pics of receipts when I had my 23 F150. I was playing with the app last night and trying to figure out how to add files. Guess I have my answer.

Add another one to the app issue. Have been able to get the ford website working but not the Lincoln.
