Just looked at your website and that indicates coverage up to 10 years or 175,000 miles. That's quite different from 41 months or 41,000 miles..? Cross-shopping with the commonly used Flood Ford ESP, your pricing is similar, but doesn't beat them in every combination of years/miles/deductible.

What is the purpose of a 12 month ESP on a vehicle with a 3yr/36k warranty from the factory. Seems like your top option only adds 5 months and 5,000 miles of coverage from the factory warranty. Why can’t you offer longer coverage?

We made some errors on our pricing (we have to manually update our pricing) and we've got some updates to fix these that should go live within the next week or so. but we should be as good or better than anyone online. If you find anything cheaper we'll happily beat that quoted price!

Sorry if the initial statement wasn't clear, but we can put the coverage on any vehicle with up to 41 months or 41,000 miles that are currently on them. Obviously that wouldn't apply to a 2024 Ranger, but if you had a 2021 with 40,000 miles and it is out of factory warranty, we can still put an extended warranty coverage on that Ranger.

What Extended Warranty Should I Buy?


This is probably the most common question we receive on a daily basis. There is no one-size fits all solution to this, but I'm going to do my best to shed some light on this topic.

There are 2 main questions to consider regarding the purchase of an extended warranty. First, is how many miles do you drive a year? The average driver in the United States drives 13,500 miles annually. Do you drive more or less? Second, How long do you normally keep a vehicle? 8.4 Years is the national average for a new car purchased in the United States.

I would advise the average American new car driver to purchase an 8-year 100,000 mile or 9-year and 125,000 mile extended through Ford Protect. This would provide enough coverage to ensure they are protected from risk while driving the vehicle and contribute to a great re-sale value when they are done driving the vehicle and look to sell or trade it in without any outstanding issues.

What we’ve found Is the majority of our customers opt for a 7- or 8-year coverage and between 100,000-125,000 miles as their desired coverage as well. 50% of our customers opt for those terms and coverages.
