Just read this thread today. When I used the app on Saturday, no climate control option. Checked just now and it is there! Nice to be able to turn on the defrost mode so I can burn off the snow/frost after being parked at work all day.

I do not have it for my 2024 XLT.
Most likely because it does not have the full frills package.
Climate controls are manual.

Same here. '24 XLT without auto/dual zone climate...no ability to change after remote start in the app.

Someone on my Facebook group reported having climate control settings during remote start from the Ford app. They mentioned that they saw it after doing the OTA brake recall update. They are using android. I sure don't have it. I'm curious if anyone else does or knows the circumstances around climate control on the app.

Mine has it but had to start the vehicle with the app for it to show.

Yeah, I checked mine and nothing. XLT. Same as OP. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled just to test and still nothing. I hope we get those settings. As I would love to adjust the temp, heated seats.

I've encountered a problem. Prior to the new climate feature my auto setting for the seats and steering wheel would turn on heated seats and steering wheel when it's cold.

Now with the new climate feature in the app, the steering wheel heat will turn on, the seat heat does not turn on, however. It's not until I get in the truck and push the start/stop button (Lariat) that my heated seat will finally turn on.

It doesn't matter if I have the Remote Start Setup Seats and Steering Wheel set to auto or off in the truck settings.

Is anyone else experiencing their seat not getting preheated?

Yep, me too.
What I have noticed:
With scheduled starts, heated seats would automatically come on if it was cold enough.
Now, with the update, if the seats were on when I parked, then scheduled starts doesn't turn them on. If the seats were off when I parked, the heated seats will be on at scheduled starts.
It's only with scheduled starts that it seems to toggle the seats on or off, depending on how it was when I parked. I have tried those scenarios many times to be 100% correct about it, but that's what I've seen over the last couple of days.

But if I use the App or key fob to remote start, the heated seats will be on if cold enough, regardless of whether they were on or off when parked.

I noticed that if I did not select heated seats from my app when starting, they would not automatically turn on even when it is very cold. So it seems with the inclusion of climate settings in the app, they will not automatically turn on

Which gimps the use of scheduled starts in the winter. If I have to go into the app the heated seats, I just as well start the truck too.

Confirmed that the Scheduled starts toggle the heated seats. Don't know about remote start with app or fob.
Wednesday morning, temp 45 seats on.
Wednesday afternoon, temp 62, seats off.
Thursday morning, temp 54, seats on, but I turned them off before getting to work.
Thursday afternoon, temp 72, seats on, so I turned them off.
Friday morning, temp 46, seats on.

It seems inconsistent

on two occasions this past week, after remote starting I turned off the heated seat and steering from the app, but when I got in the truck a bit later they were still on

I’m not sure if they were on when I parked the night before. So I’m not sure if turning off just doesn’t reliably work, or if it only works if you hadn’t left them on the last time driving the truck

For the past week, every single time I start my truck via the app, my heated seats and steering wheel turn on.

The temps have been in the 70-80s, and I DO NOT want them on

I have made 100% sure that in the truck while driving it the settings are turned off. Then in the app, I make sure it shows they are off after starting the truck. I have even turned them on, then back off in the app. Yet when I get in my truck, the seats and steering are hot without fail

Is anyone else experiencing this?
