Update: This seems to work as advertised. It was a cooler morning and cool air was coming out of the vents, but I don't think it was A/C.Happy to report that I took it for a little spin and got nothing by sweet, sweet ambient outside air coming out of the vents. Okay, it wasn't that sweet. It's like 92 degrees today, but the A/C did not kick on until I turned it on. The biggest test will be in the mornings when it's a little cooler and more humid. I'll update later.
Can you confirm if the A/C still turns on when the front defroster is turned on? I have added the info you gave onto the confirmed tab of the spreadsheet. Please check it for accuracy as I personally have not tried this setting and am just going on your post.Update: This seems to work as advertised. Another day was fairly humid and cool. The cabin got pretty muggy...I'd say auto A/C has been disabled.
Yes. I had the A/C on the windshield and feet on my commute this morning. No problems. Can you confirm if the A/C still turns on when the front defroster is turned on? any progress on the headlight?I'd actually love to find a way to make it work as AUS....but I can only via hard wiring the footwell high beam lineApologies that this is not a helpful post - more a selfish one unfortunately...
Two things that I'd like to crack with FORScan:
Apologies for the rant... keen to hear other's views.
- Trail turn assist on the Ranger Raptor
- I have attempted to enable this using settings I found looking at F150 FORScan information and by poking about in FORScan myself however I was only ever able to get it to come up in the UI (off-road screen) but when I try to activate it I get a message like "Feature not available" (can't quite remember the exact message).
- This feature should be able to be enabled on the RR given that it is available on the Tremor edition (in Aus.).
- Headlight control of the auxiliary switches:
- In Aus delivered vehicles (I presume it is the same in NA and ROW), when aux switches 5 and 6 are in the enabled position (the overhead switches) the auxiliary lighting outputs automatically come on when the headlights automatically switch to high-beam.
- This is both annoying and a problem. It is a problem as the sensitivity of the auto high-beam is such that it turns on high-beam way too early and way too late for decent driving lights so you end up blinding on-coming traffic. (in Aus. it is very normal and legal to use powerful driving lights on country roads).
- I would love to find a way to disable the connection between auto high-beam and the aux switches - and only enable the aux switches when the high-beam stalk is physically pushed forward.
- I realise that you can disable auto high-beam but then you loose the advantage of having auto high-beam and the very big advantage of the matrix LED adaptive lighting.
I just disabled S mode for the app store on a cheap small form factor laptop I use for FORScan - more guardrails for people who probably don't know what they should and should not be clicking.Trying to download the App to my windows laptop and it's warning me not to switch out of 'S' mode,
Is there a way around this, how did you guys handle it?
I do have an older laptop that i used Forscan on for my '19 Ranger i guess i'll just get that charged up again, I daily use a newer one that's why i wanted to try on that one, I'll leave the 'S' mode alone on it.I just disabled S mode for the app store on a cheap small form factor laptop I use for FORScan - more guardrails for people who probably don't know what they should and should not be clicking.
There have been several threads about FORScan, but would like to consolidate into one place like was done for the 5G Ranger.
The below document will be updated as people give confirmation as to what works and what does not. I am hoping to find GUI changes as Asbuilt changes together if possible, like you will see on the Confirmed tab for the Chimes and Bambi mode
Web version: FORScan NA Ranger 6G
Actual Gsheet: FORScan NA Ranger 6G - Gsheet
The 3 most useful tabs:
- Features Confirmed - these are options that are proven to work on the Ranger
- Features TBD - these were collected from F150, Ranger5G, and Bronco and need to be confirmed
- FORScan GUI - this is a dump of all the options for all NON-ASBUILT module pages in FORScan while connected to a 6G Ranger
IF YOU CAN CONFIRM a configuration change works, if you could post to this thread with this information:
- Feature name from the Feature Tab
- What value you changed from -> to (asbuilt only, or GUI)
- Ranger trim level tested on
- Any side effects or gotchas when making the change
- Any other details of what the feature actually does (in layman terms)
Please PM me if you would like to be an editor for this sheet or request access from within the Gsheet.
** NOTE ** The sheet may take some time for changes to get entered after there are posts with confirmations. So be patient please

Are the drive modes exclusive to automatic transmissions? Ive got a southeastern asian variant of the 2023 ford ranger XL manual transmission and was curious if these would apply for my pickup. Thanks!
This is what I've changed so far, all working successfully on 2022 Raptor.
(Sorry havn't got time to adhere to formatting.)

Sorry I can't remember what Turbo Boost Gauge is, as far as I know a boost/vacuum gauge is available in multiple places from factory, at least on the Raptor. Is the turbo boost gauge a new dedicated screen?
