I changed a setting "Parking lights on with DRLs" and it seemed to work great! I added amber grille lights and wired them to the side markers. However, the side markers do not come on with DRLs by default. This setting allows that. Pretty easy to change disabled to enabled and send!

yeah i have this enabled. I was looking to make my turn signals on with parking lights, and dimmed, and have the DRLs blink with turn

Anyone know if you can change the aux switch power to be on without having to push the button to turn on full accessory power? I have a shower back there and have to go inside the cab and single press the start button to get power back there. I wired this into one of the aux wires near the hitch.

I am not sure if this is possible. I already did the accessory time out to 2 hours, but that is for USB and probably the bed power, but not aux power.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I agree that configurability of the aux switches would be a great thing. I have searched through lots of non-AsBuilt stuff but can't find anything that gives me the ability to change their function. It looks to me like the auxiliary power on this car is very old school just done with wiring rather than via a programmable PDM. Some ford vehicles do come with a programmable PDM but unless someone else has better knowledge, I'm stumped.

Sorry, not the answer you were looking for.

I figured as much, but thanks for the reply. I think I may run some wires to separate switches for this. I have a Starlink and a shower in the bed. These are each connected to an aux switch, but I hate to have to turn on acc power just to have power to them when the truck is not running. It is nice to have internet and the working shower just on when parked somewhere in the middle of nowhere.

@Antman450 ,

In my research I do remember seeing someone with an F150 (I think) with the upfitter switches show how he was able to move a fuse in the relay/fuse box to convert some of the switches to be always active.
Maybe do some searching for that on YouTube. There is a chance that the Ranger might have something similar.

Has nobody figured out yet how to get the camera views? The F150 has the same number of cameras, with the same angles, as our Rangers. So it must just be an option.

Ok..

Most every other Ford vehicle has this option but I have not found it. Wondering if Forscan has a spot for this.

How do I turn off the MFD screen while driving? On both of my F-150’s you can hit the button once for calm and twice for off.

I’ve only found the calm option inside of the display on the Ranger Raptor.

I think pushing the on/off volume knob for several seconds will turn it off

I also need to ask again, though I’ve basically given up hope by now: I do have Hill Descent Control. But the “newer” feature is “Off-Road Cruise Control” (I can’t remember the exact name anymore). With that one you can, for example, even going uphill, set cruise control in 1 km/h increments. That really has to be just an activation thing (like Trail Turn Assist), right? Nobody any idea?

And the camera views issue is still pending.

Yes. But the 2023 has just Hill Descend Control instead of this.

Based on what I've seen on other forums it cannot be added via forscan or any other way
