I doubt it’ll be anywhere close to being able to run 37’s. With 2 inch perch collars my 35’s rub just slightly at full compression. This setup only gives you about 2” in the front and 1” in the back from stock from what Fox said when I preordered. With this suspension upgrade. You think we be able to upgrade to 37" tires?
Yes with 74 weld portalsWith this suspension upgrade. You think we be able to upgrade to 37" tires?
Agreed! I'm on plus two strut spacers in the front and 1 in in the rear on 35x11.5. plus 30, 9 and three wheels. Trimmed nothing and nothing has ever touched or rubbed. Really the perfect setup. With that said, I will achieve the same thing with the new 3.2 setup and leave it at that. Also I went with Toyo AT 3 and between the forged wheel and the toyos I'm the same weight as the stock wheel and tire setup. If your doing portals, I wouldn't do a lift. The Exodus truck rolled and totaled it. He was on 37's, lift and portals. Too much up and not enough out, unless your just never going to drive it fast in corners. But then you also risk rolling it climbing rocks if you get too off camber.
That's something the big tire crowd seems to always forget, lifts and tires add clearance, but it also raises your CG and it's NOT linear. You need a disproportionate increase in width to counteract changes in height.
So, 3-4 in height will require nearly 7- or 8-inches wider track width to maintain the CG. Why do you think the Bronco Raptors look like they have the "milk jug carrying muscle guy stance"? That's to maintain proper CG with the 13 inches of clearance on 37's!
I think Fox intended the 3.2's as an adjustable alternative to the factory 2.5's based on the custom modifications they did for the RR Race truck, where they threaded the perch collars on stock shocks so the team could adjust pre-load, but then they needed limit straps to prevent shock damage from additional pre-load because the spring energy was higher on top-out's.
I'm guessing the 3.2's are compensated for the range of spring tension and ride height you can get so you can add pre-load without needing to add limit straps. They are a nice integrated solution for those wanting a mild lift and I'm guessing they did the work to ensure you don't raise your CG to unsafe levels.
33's to 35's are really the optimal tire range for the RR. Go with 35x11.5's and the 3.2's!
I didn't know he totaled his truck. Thats a bummer. When did that happen? If your doing portals, I wouldn't do a lift. The Exodus truck rolled and totaled it. He was on 37's, lift and portals.
Where did you hear that? His insta has a pic of it from just a few weeks agoIf your doing portals, I wouldn't do a lift. The Exodus truck rolled and totaled it. He was on 37's, lift and portals. Don't worry Fox said August so just a couple more weeksAll this chatter and still no news about the suspension release date

One of the rules about shock club is that we don't talk about shock clubAll this chatter and still no news about the suspension release date
The 3.2's for the F-150's have issues in general. My buddy has them on his truck and he just had his 3rd failure with them. And another guy down here had a failure after they were on his truck for 200 miles. I would expect issues no matter what at this point. With the info that came out about them having trouble with the sensor connections being durable you would probably be wise to see how the early adopters do before buying 8k worth of shocks. Wouldn't be surprised if there are problems.
