I just finished watching a You Tube about non Tier level gas in Ford engines.
Since there are not any Tier level stations near me ( Chevron, Shell, etc) I usually use Circle K, Citgo, cross country usually Loves. According to the video these are on some of the worst gas lists. Knock on wood I have not had any issues yet.
From now on I will be searching Tiel Level.
Thinking maybe adding an injector cleaner such as Chevron Tectron.
Any thoughts?

AAA performed a pretty good simulated 4,000 mile test using Tier 1 and non Tier gasolines. The results: "Top Tier fuels left engines much cleaner. On average, non-Top Tier fuels left 660 milligrams of deposits on each intake, compared to an average of just 34 milligrams for Top Tier fuels. That’s 19 times fewer deposits, or a reduction of almost 95%. Top Tier fuels also left fewer overall deposits throughout the engine. "
I also use a lot of non Tier 1 gasoline (Kroger), therefore I occasionally put in a tank of Tier 1 gas and I also put a bottle of Chevron Techron in at each 5,000 mile OCI.

I've always sought out top tier diesel for my 3 diesels but now that I have an actual gasoline powered truck it's probably even more important. At least I can stick with Chevron and Qwik Trip. Do you have a Costco?

Yes but it's a 45 minute drive.
I'm in southeast Tennessee and closest.Costco is in Georgia.
I fill up when I go.
I was surprised Costco is on the food gas list.

I have used this every tank or two for many years, it also stabilizes and keeps small power equipment engines healthy. Read some reviews, try a bottle. The standard dose is fine for most situations, you can double it to act as a more aggressive fuel system cleaner.

FYI if you have a lawn mower that surges - wow wow wow - instead of idling smoothly, give it a double dose and run it for half an hour before moving on to any carb repairs, it might fix itself. That happened to me.

Highly recommended! Also, I pick Chevron if I am near one, but mostly I use Maverik, because I love their ethanol free premium.

I'm in the habit of putting a bottle of either techron or seafoam in each of our vehicles in every 3rd or 4th tankful (in my diesels it's seafoam or power service diesel kleen). They do work well, especially over time.

I just happened across a You Tube video that talked about different fuel brands and effects on the Ford ECO's.
Amazing the amount of deposits are caused by different fuel brands.

Never knew there was such a thing as top tier gas
I've ran wal mart gas (87) since I've owned my 2021. Haven't noticed any real issues so far.
Plus I'm cheap and don't my vehicles much longer than a year after I pay them off. Hence the reason I'm looking again.

Speaking of additives, how is the "HEET" brand?
