Same as above, in Baja mode, keeps the turbo spooled up and feels much different when you get into it from there. You'll never mistake it for a sports car, but it gains speed in a bit of a different way if you just ease into it rather than having it all spooled up and ready. Really fun on a trail or snow when you can get it sliding through a corner, hammer to the next braking spot, slide through the corner, accelerate out; and repeat. Way too heavy to replicate a GT350 on a track, but really great in its own way.

Yeah… I fully agree, and I was never expecting to get into this realm of performance.
The RR is just an awesome little pickup with great heritage and a lot of capabilities. I’m excited to bring one home.

I drove mine from Phillipsburg, NJ to Eastampton, NJ, about 70 miles, and then to Manhattan, another 70+, this morning, through road conditions the state deemed as requiring a travel ban...and had a blast. Through plowed, unplowed, partially plowed, snow drifts, etc. Was one of the more enjoyable drives in recent memory. Mostly in 2WD and AWD modes depending on if I could even see anything pavement colored. Did go to 4WD when I hit the 18" of unplowed snow in one housing development and that was probably the best 5 minutes of the day. Anyway, you'll love it.

I thought mine was a bit sluggish, lethargic, etc.... when I first got it. Most of that I attributed to the transmission programming. The ProCal tune addressed that "problem" for me and was worth every penny IMO.

A passerby at work asked me today if my RR was quick. I replied that it's like a sports car with a truck bed on the back. I'm enjoying it very much, but also keeping my eyes wide open while driving. I've not had a speeding ticket since the early 2000s... want to keep it that way...

Step one completed... I sold my '15 Silverado.

This is in my cross-hairs now:

Sweet! Go for it! FYI I left mine in normal mode and (kinda) took it easy on it for the first 1,000 miles for a break-in period. After finally toggling to sport mode...WOW! The truck came to life! Now my preferred settings are sport mode, normal suspension and comfort steering. Exhaust is in quiet mode until I leave the neighborhood, then to sport. Love being able to adjust these settings on the fly!

My local dealer cannot get any dealer to trade for a 2025 or 2026 Raptor…. So I am going to place an order for a 2026. They estimate 10 - 14 weeks. I decided to go with the Raptor graphics, since the wife said it will look a lot less like a work truck in white. I disagree on the “work truck” on a Raptor, but I was on the fence with the graphics. Options will also include bead lock capable rims and spray in bed liner.

Excellent! (Have to imagine Mr. Burns from the Simpsons here).

Auto trader shows 103 Ranger Raptors within 200 miles of Marietta....

When I was looking, the local dealers had none. The nearest one was 50 miles away. Didn't want that color. But at at 150 miles there were about 100 to choose from. Only one in my first color choice. Turns out they were terrific to do business with!
