Got first RECALL Notice: Window stuck open

Yes, there are a number of TSB's, but just this one recall so far.
The window recall letters are supposed to go out Sept 23, 2024.
If one is having other service before then, it is likely already in the system at Ford, and they will schedule replacement/update of the driver's and passenger-side door control modules.
Interesting to go through all these and be aware, but it takes a little time.

They don't stick open, the anti pinch is not aggressive enough and somebody could get hurt by fingers and limbs possibly being crushed in the window. As far as I can tell the anti pinch turns off when the truck goes to sleep after 15 minutes, so if the windows get rolled up by the key, somebody could possibly be injured.

Had the software update, it took 15 minutes.

I took mine in for the 1st oil change yesterday. The service writer mentioned the recall and said they would take care of it. Just over 2 hours all together

RR built last week… driving in it this week? Ohh, please do explain. Mine was “married” on 9/6. Dealer told me at least a month to get it to them in Texas. Mind me asking where you live? Thanks and can’t wait for mine to arrive!!

Still does the crash that requires airplane mode to fix, unfortunately. The TSB listing said to expect an OTA update Q4 for that.

Call where got truck..told me there into middle of October before can do..also told me mine gets J brace also?? Didn't expect that...needs truck all day when get done.

Local dealer said they will come to my driveway and do the software update on Monday. They also mentioned they offer oil changes at your home by sucking out the old oil with their equipment. New at home repair service - interesting.

Scheduled for tire rotation and cabin air filter (I'm lazy). Said they would fix hood per TSB and door control modules recall update. They suggested j-braces, but I mentioned the dealer in IA installed these. Will pick up truck and deliver back when done same day.
