Has anyone looked into adding the graphics package on a Ranger Raptor?

I’d like to do this but with a slightly different color palette, maybe incorporating some Code Red. Would a local vinyl shop by the place to go for this?

My RR is all white and it just seems a little plain.

Funny I am thinking about removing my stickers. The plain Raptor sticker looks ok, but the optional sticker package is a little to over the top IMO.

I also got some orange pinstripes in different sizes and some other orange vinyl. I'm thinking I'm going to do something like this. Was easy with the paint program. We'll see how it turns out.

So after washing all the salt, road grime, and snow off, I got to it tonight. The graphics are a little thicker than vinyl I've worked with before but seems okay. I thought about doing it right over the factor "Raptor" but ended up just peeling the originals off. Didn't like the way it lined up on the passenger side so I cut the large piece (visible under the right-most green magnet) knowing I could cover that with my orange "highlights" after.

Finished by adding some orange pinstripes as I had drawn up before. I really like the way it came out. Certainly won't have to guess which one is mine in parking lots or at the dealer now.

Remains to be seen how it will hold up. Had to make my own cutout for the fuel door. Did a rather rough cut and used the heat gun a lot to get the vinyl to "bite" both on the door and on the body. May have to use some of the graphic edge sealer if it won't stay put

Overall impressions?

You said the texture may have been funny, but it could have been the carrier. Also mentioned hadn’t make some cuts, what torment issues did you have?

The vinyl graphic itself was a little thicker than others I've worked with, but not problematic as the install is relatively easy, no crazy bends or angles.
The only cut I made was the passenger side main graphic wasn't lining up quite where I wanted it near the cab. It was most likely me just not having it forward enough but I wanted to start near the back and get the "Raptor" just where I wanted it and then if I had to adjust something going forward I could.
Overall it seems like a fine substitute for the factory graphic, especially at the cost savings. I could have totally botched this set and bought another and still would be less than the price to add at build...and a fraction of what it would cost to order after the fact.

I removed the factory graphics package and replaced them with these from Rocky Mountain. I thought the Orange/Red outline looked better with my Shelter Green. I did the tailgate inlay also.

Thanks for sharing, I was trying to imagine how this color combo would look on shelter green and it looks good! Are the decals all matte finish? I want to try a combination of matte black letters with a gloss back border for a more subtle look, or maybe a darker grey bordering to compliment the beadlock (capable) wheels.

@rocsteady that came out a lot better than I expected! I think the larger graphics look best on the grey/silvers, black, and white RR. Those colors pull it off better than the rest IMO.

I used Rocky Mountain Graphics for my SG as well. I wanted a bronze color that would come close to my Method 703 Bronze wheels. Brent at RMG was able to send me a bunch of color swatches to choose from. He can do more than just the colors listed on the website.

Ultimately I went with Matte Black main and Matte Bronze Metallic outline.
