Hey RR fam,

Just crested 2k miles on my 25 Ranger Raptor returning from the Raptor Assault Course (which was awesome!) got a parking sensor error on the way home. I got a car wash thinking debris/bugs, but still having errors--looks like a caught a rock on the parking sensors and need to replace it...so my questions are...

1) anyone have instructions/video/tips on how to remove/replace the sensor?

2) anyone have the paint color (paint code) or advice (maybe a vinyl wrap?) on how to match the satin-ish/black-ish color on the outside front passenger sensor (ford dude said maybe some touch up paint if I can find the color)

Thanks!

I replaced one that was going out and kept faulting every time it’d rain on the rear bumper of my previous F-150.
Took all of 2 minutes to replace. Undo the electrical connector and spin or squeeze (can’t remember now) the retainer clip holding the sensor into the housing in its location. Then reverse the process. Seriously just a couple minutes to do and I bought my sensor from Ford on-line.
Just crawl under it and look at it from the back side. Should be easy.

you could just buy black ones, the are cheap, I have seen a lot of people paint them but i would think it would mess with their readings.
